Review: I was referred to LiquidSpill by my sister who at the time had recently used their services. In August, I sent in my boyfriend's computer for a repair. Recently, the logic board LiquidSpill installed started failing altogether so we sent it back to LiquidSpill to honor their one year warranty. They received the computer two weeks ago. They have not reached out to us once regarding the progress of the computer. After emailing them last week with no response, I finally I got a hold of them via phone once. They told me they installed a new logic board only to realize it was a dud. They were apparently waiting another new logic board and assured me it would be complete and shipped to me at the beginning of this week. I spoke with my sister who had the same problem with Liquidspill. They honored their warranty and installed yet another faulty logic board in her computer. She eventually took it to [redacted] for a third repair. At this point I really started the question the quality of their repair parts. I emailed them Wednesday, April 17th at 7 am to find out the status of the computer and request that if they cannot repair the computer with a quality part, that they send it back unfixed with a refund so that I may have it repaired elsewhere. Both my boyfriend and I have called and emailed them several times since. For the last two days, the message machine at all their locations states they are closed, despite being regular business hours. We're very disappointed they have not returned any of our messages or emails. They have in their possession a $1400 piece of equipment that we're beginning to consider stolen and filing a report. We've conveyed this to them, yet still no one has reached out to us. Their message machine states that they are having a difficult time getting parts and are now referring customers to [redacted]. I fear their company is dissipating and they will not honor their warranty or return our computer.Desired Settlement: We would like our computer returned and a refund of $590 so that we may apply this to a repair through [redacted]. We feel this is adequate, as this is caused us a considerable amount of stress. My boyfriend is a musician and an artist. Much of his income from these careers is derived from activity on his computer. Liquidspill clearly doesn't respect how viable a tool this computer is to some of their clients.
