We were contacted on January 13th to remove the customer from our mailing list There are other people that send similar mailings as we would not mail someone or times in a day span We have had this happen before where they thought it was all coming from us and when they checked their records they noticed it was different companies sending them a letter or card However we have removed them from the mailing list It should have been explained that the mailings are planned in advance and take a few months for the list to get refreshed and the name removed from the mailing list So they can throw away any future mailings and expect for the mailings to stop from our company in the next days You should note this is the same standard practice with mail order catalogs and other direct mailers

I contacted customer and apologized for the error in sending him a piece of direct mail The error was corrected and manually removed from the list The marketing department is creating a program to hopefully fix the issue but the changes in the way public data is non standardized makes it difficult to automate removing people from a list where manual removal is not economical For example the property sometimes has "Lane" other times it has "LN" The data providers are inconsistent in the application of a standard list so we have to create a program that takes every variation of each possible street suffix to make it recognize them regardless

We did not see records of a remove from list request so it has now been submitted and removed from our files They should not get any more mailings

I have forwarded to our marketing department to remove from the list and manually done so As we tell customers we have to have the mailing address exactly as it appears on the mailing piece they receive because the system automatically removes the addresses with a computer application that
does an exact match to the address in our file The address in our file matches the mailing piece exactly We continue to strive to improve our response to getting people off the mailing list when they request that we do so

that may do the trickHe agreed to this serviceOn 1/27/161- I jetted lineStill not able to free clog2- At this time I suggested damage to pipe must be present3- I offered to camera line to locate damage/ Mr*** agreed to this serviceTotal to this point$455.00 ($roto rooter, $jetter, $sewer camera) Prices were given for services abaoveI marked damaged location of pipeMr*** told me to proceed to hand dig and repair.1- Located damaged pipeTree roots had strangled line and crushed in this area2- Had to dig a total of 15ft to locate good sections of pipe.3- I informed the home owner all pipe was thin wall pipe to house and septic(includes under walkway and concrete)4- Home owner never asked for a estimate or ball park to replace remaining sewer line.5- After good sections of pipe were foundLine was camera and flushed to confirm good flow,6- After new pipe 15ft and connections were madeLine was tested 7- In the months since the repair I can not say that more roots didn't move and damage line.8- I cant warranty line that was not replacedBy Plumbing Matters I was onsite and saw repairI was the one who located and marked damaged area of pipeI feel repair was made in a professional manor. I have researched the issue and found the root of the problem The mailing address was misspelled in our remove from list records so the matching to our mailing list failed to recognize the file as one that is marked for removal I have updated it with the correct address and should stop
future mailings to this mailing address I called the customer to explain the error and apologize for any inconvenience

This was a customer of a different company Quick Fix Real Estate Central VA LLC that was/is based out of Richmond VA. We are very sorry for the experience that you had and any miscommunication that occurred. Quick Fix Real Estate Central Virginia has closed and we are doing our best to
help their past and current clientsWe are based in Roanoke, VA so in order to do this we agreed to a purchase price without seeing the property contingent upon a physical inspection. In order for us to start our process and send a representative on a hour drive to do the inspection we required a signed contract spelling out all those terms. Again we do this only in Richmond in order to help past clients of Quick Fix Real Estate Central Virginia. Unfortunately there was a miscommunication of this process between you and us. We are sorry for this and wish you the very best in your efforts to sell your home. Please contact us directly if you need further assistance or clarification

Sorry for the duplicate mailing It appears to be a system error We removed them from the mailing list but the address they submitted for removal was slightly different than the actual mailing list Our records have the mailing address as ** *** ** but the customer submitted ** *** *** We caught it manually the 1st time but when the list was updated the removal software does not recognize similar addresses, it works on exact matches The removal software uses an exact match so it did not automatically remove it from future mailings I have updated the software that does the removal We send over 15,pieces of mail a week so we rely on automation and apologize for the inconvenience Thank you for letting us know so we can save paper from being wasted

We apologize for the frustration with receiving marketing in the mail.  We offer services to buy properties directly from owners without going through traditional real estate means thus verifying they are on the [redacted] is not part of the solution we offer.  However we will happily remove you...

from the mailing list and have done so now.  There may have been some confusion since you contacted us about receiving an offer and not initially asking to be removed from the mailing list during the time your home was listed on the [redacted].  Regardless I have personally check the current mailing list and your address you submitted with this complaint is not on the mailing address.  It is possible since you moved that you received mail at a new mailing address that was not on our do not contact list.  Thanks and congratulations on selling your home.

We have removed the name from the mailing list but it is prepared up to 2 months in advance so there is the possibility that another piece of mail will be sent before the removal is complete.  We have searched the system and found no record of the phone number mentioned in the complaint so I...

cannot advise on the phone calls to the customer.  They have been marked as do not contact under the property address submitted.  Thanks
