bought a lot of items before pandemic for an event with a promise from Arthur (manager) that I can return whatever is left after my event (if paid with cash, which I did). event had to be canceled and when I came to return what I bought, Arthur refused. bad manager, bad business. promises are not kept.
The original purchase date was March *,2020. The liquor store was never closed and operated at full capacity during COVID-19 pandemic. Customer didn't contact the store or came in until August, *** 2020. Alcohol is a perishable product and we can't except it 5 month later, as we don't know how it was stored. If the customer would have contacted us when he found out that his party was canceled, we would have accommodated him and made arrangements to pick up the alcohol from his house. We always try to provide the best service and the satisfaction of our clients is our biggest concern. Unfortunaly in this situation it would have been unsafe for us to take the alcohol back 5 month later, especially during the pandemic.

1) alcohol that was bought can be stored for decades and is in the same condition as if you kept it.
2) there wasn't any specific timeline discussed. I was told as long as I pay with cash and have a receipt, I can return it.
