work. the insurance company checked all my work and cleared me that I did only what she needed. she still refuse to pay her bill the insurance company had to tell her she had to pay her bill.

Hello:
Clarification #1: I called Metlife and filed a complaint against Dr [redacted] and not the other way around. She wanted to bill me when my benefits renew or threatened to file my case to collection agency. I think she got her facts incorrect here. please also call metlife and confirm with them if they ever got a call from Dr [redacted] that will help you clarify Dr [redacted]'s intent to fraudulently claim money from Metlife.
Clarification #2: Please see Dr [redacted]'s assessment on my treatment. Per Dr [redacted], I was treated by Dr [redacted] for treatment that was not needed or required. I have shared Dr [redacted]'s detailed analysis on that and can share that again and am flexible to get her on a call or we can get second opinion on my treatment.
Clarification #3: I paid Dr [redacted]'s fees in FULL I have a case open with Metlife addressing my concern and a case officer assigned to this and also a case opened with Dental Board with a dedicated case officer assigned to my case.
I just need a clear justification and evidence from Dr [redacted] on few things and that will help everyone understand her clinic practice:
1) Did she call my insurance company before treating me for the fillings/cavities? Who did she talk to and what information did she get on my benefits? can she provide evidence of that call?
2) Did she walk over the cost of treatment with me and educate me on the cost of the treatment that I will pay out my pocket and that I will get reimbursed by metlife? Can she show evidence of that conversation?
3) Did she inform me before the treatment how many teeth/cavities she is going to treat me for? Was it 4 or 5 or 8 or 9? showing what is on the Xray's and the treatment given has no bearing to what was agreed upon by the patient and the doctor?
4) Lastly I am willing to pay for third party opinion on my cavities to confirm if the treatment given to me by Dr [redacted] was needed or was it unnecessary
This is serious malpractice and fraudulent way to run the clinic business and claim money from insurance company and if not then from the patient by threat ning them to send to collections agency.
I hope we make an effort to get to the details of how Dr [redacted]'s is running her clinic and practice and make sure others learn from what I experienced by paying $1100 + 392 out of pocket and $1500 that she collected from metlife.
I have a case open with Metlife and with Dental Board and I am going to pursue until justice is heard and treated fairly.

This matter has been turned over to my lawyer so we will be contacting all parties involved Dr [redacted], Dr [redacted] and metlife.I am informed I am not allowed to comment anymore her lawyer can contact my lawyer.

I don't think this solves the issue here. I have not received any letter from her lawyer and getting the response from the lawyer does not answer my concerns. There are other cases that have experienced similar fraudulent practice and just like my case she threatened the patient's name to collection agency and collected money from them.
As said, I am willing to go for a second opinion, have metlife agent present to witness the conversation and help gather the facts to assess what and how DR [redacted] fraudulently claims money from patients and insurance companies.
