Review: I order a window for my outside storm door from Lisbon Storm Screen & Door on 6-23-14.I ask them could I get it the same day,they told me no that it would take 7 to 10 days.It is now 7-12-14 n I still dont have my window I called them on7-8-14 n ask why haven't I received my window n they told me they were having some problem with the manufacture that they dealt with,so I said to them since it haven't been done to give me back my money n I will go somewhere else.They intern had a manager call me n said that I would received it on Friday 7-11-14 n the afternoon sometime n that they will call me,no call from them so I had my wife to call them n I told her to tell them if I can't get my window on Friday that I will be up their on Saturday to get my money.This place is very unprofessional and they don't inform u when thing go wrong,u have to call them to find out what going on.Im just fed up with them n would like my money back so I can go somewhere else.Desired Settlement: -- Select your Desired Settlement --I want my money back!

This customer was given a full refund on 7/12/2014. He was told that special order tempered glass takes 7 to 10 BUSINESS days (one to two weeks). Our glass supplier's tempering furnace had some problems which added a week to the lead time so we offered him a full refund...not sure how you can offer BETTER service than that.

In 1982 we purchased wood core storm doors for our home from Lisbon Storm, Screen & Door. The doors are very functional and long lasting. Over the years I have forgotten how to remove the screen for cleaning and repair. Today - May 2014 - a nice young man taught me over the phone how to bow the screen slightly toward me as I slip the bottom of the screen into it's proper slot!
These people stand by their products, even 32 years later. Their products have more than lived up to the expectations we had and continue to meet our needs. I recommend them highly!

Review: no itemized billing, and work not completed on front storm door yet.Desired Settlement: All I want the co. to do is lower the door sweep/draft stopper apparatus at the bottom of the door. Every time I call I get the run around and no specific follow-up date.

Review: Fiberglass exterior door and storm door purchased from Lisbon Storm and Screen. Two days after installation warping was apparent around window. Now entire door is warping. Multiple attempts were made to resolve issue with Lisbon. Agreement to replace exterior door with wood door was promised but not followed through. Now the only offer for service is to paint exterior door and re-frame window or replace window even though it was stated by manufacturer that this would not resolve the problem. In addition, no limitations of warranty were disclosed prior to purchasing the doors. After problems arose, Lisbon states that because the door is black, the warranty is null and void.Desired Settlement: We are willing to work with Lisbon for a reasonable settlement. We are requesting that Lisbon replace the current fiberglass door with a wooden door (of mutually agreed upon style and quality) as they originally promised. We have email documentation showing this agreement if requested. We have filed a dispute with Capital One who has temporarily reversed the charges. However, we were notified that the charges will be placed back on our card 1/26/2015 because we have been unable to get another door company to put anything in writing as to their opinion on the matter.

This customer purchased a Fiberglass entry door from us in late August. They picked up their special order door the second week of October. At some point after that customer called stating that the framing that surrounds the glass was warping. It was discovered at that point that the customer has a south facing entry door. It was explained at that point that when an opening faces south and is covered by a full glass storm door that heat build up issues can certainly happen especially when the door and storm door are painted black. Parts were ordered under warranty to replace the damage but now appears that the entire door will have to be replaced. The manufacturer has agreed to replace it and we fully agreed to perform the work to install the new unit. It was explained to the customer that if she wanted the new unit to be black also that the manufacturer would not warranty the new replacement unit because of the special circumstances surrounding the direction that this door faces. The customer was also told that if she picked a new color that our company would even replace her black storm door free of charge. The customer told us that she was planning on having her home painted in the spring so we suggested waiting until spring to address the matter and picking out new colors. She was agreeable to this and we even suggested (and sent) documentation of our intent to fully address the situation in the spring since the problem was only aesthetic and not a functional issue. At the time she was agreeable to this. She later called her credit card company to have all of the charges for both doors reversed even though we told her that we would correct the problem and even sent her documentation stating the same. Whatever product she ends up choosing we will not warranty if she insists on painting it black because the lack of ventilation between the inner door and the storm door will eventually destroy whatever she chooses.
