Listen Vision

Review: I am requesting to be issued a full refund for a security deposit made to Listen Vision, LLC totaling to the amount of 250.00. The deposit was issued in two installments, on the dates of January 8th, 2013 and January 28th, 2013. This sum of money was to be held in trust by [redacted] an internet radio station and an affiliate of Listen Vision, LLC, (“[redacted]”) during the purchasing process of engineering, recording, and radio broadcasting services. These funds were distributed to Listen Vision, in order to secure the time slot of a radio show as well as to prevent the selling of the time slot to someone else during the agreed period of time while I verified the suitability of the services and radio time usage.

Originally, the purchase of the radio time slot was done in financial partnership with [redacted], owner and founder of [redacted]. On January 8th, 2013, I provided half of the funds totaling to 125.00 while [redacted] provided the additional remaining balance of 125.00. However, due to irreconcilable differences in business conduct, the decision was made to end all business engagements and partnerships between myself [redacted]. All monetary investments totaling to 125.00 which were granted to Listen Vision, LLC on behalf of [redacted] were returned to him in the original form in which he distributed the funds.

In hopes of continuing the implementation of the radio and to prevent the selling of the time slot to someone else; I made an additional deposit payment of 125.00 to Listen Vision, LLC on January 28th, 2013. However, after many failed efforts with implementation and execution the production of the radio show, I reached out to Listen Vision, LLC and notify the company that I would be unable to produce the radio show as previously scheduled. I also notified Listen Vision, LLC via email that I was more than willing to discuss my options of possibly postponing the production of the show for a later date. However, once I notified the company of my inability to produce the radio show, the attentiveness and customer service went down and the account managers became unreachable.

Between the dates of February 11th, 2013 and Thursday February 28th, 2013, I emailed, sent text messages and call various times until, I finally got in contact with [redacted] on February 28th, 2013 around 11:00 in the morning. The telephone conversation began amicably, I began by asking [redacted] about my options regarding the continuance of the radio show at Listen Vision, LLC and [redacted] was very respectful and informative. However, when I inquired on the possibility of a refund of my deposit, [redacted] became aggressive and very unprofessional. I then transitioned from inquiring about a possible refund to requesting that I be refunded and [redacted] refused stating that Listen Vision, LLC has a no refund policy. However, as previously stated in paragraph 2; lines 5, 6 & 7

“All monetary investments totaling to 125.00 which were granted to Listen Vision, LLC on behalf of [redacted] were returned to him in the original form in which he distributed the funds.”

I commented to [redacted] regarding the refund that [redacted] was granted and [redacted] became increasingly aggressive, rude and disrespectful. I then noted that our disagreement would have to be resolved with the assistance of a third party so, I respectfully requested of [redacted] to speak with his lawyers to which [redacted] continue to insult me and then end the telephone conversation by hanging up.Desired Settlement: After an assessment of how Listen Vision, LLC conducts their business activities, I no longer wished to engage in any further business relationships with this entity. The customer service displayed by some of the employees of this establishment, mainly [redacted] has been extremely subpar. In addition, there were too many individuals handling my account, the days of my pre-selected time slot was mishandled and changed various times. I would really appreciate the cooperation of Listen Vision, LLC when it comes to the resolution of this matter. My suggested solution is that I be issued a full refund of my 250.00 deposit. Lastly, I would prefer to resolve this matter outside of court and end this business engagement amicably.
