account is set up, the first billing date is clearly visible in the system. The person had 14 days from the date of her first sign up to try out the system before getting billed. Our merchant system processes billing at 2 AM. She signed up on 2/6 and her 14 day trial ended on 2/13. On 2/20, at 2 am, her card got billed. She cancelled after the trial was over and after she got billed. We were following our company policy. Technically she was not due a refund. Obviously we understand her frustration and confusion. Despite of everything that happened we still made an effort and refunded the money back to her card. The client then informed us that the card was no longer valid. We didn't drop the ball there, instead, we made an effort and sent her $30 via [redacted] account.

Review: I initiated a 14 day trial period. Start trial on 2/6/15 at 6:50pm and cancelled subscription on 2/20/15 at 3:50 pm. My card was charged on 2/20/15 at 3:00 am. I responded to the email that stated a payment was process and request that the subscription be cancelled. I received an email stating: Unfortunately since you didn't cancel the account before your trial was over it was charged automatically, We can't offer a refund if you canceled after the trial ended. On the technical side, my car was charged before the subscription trial period ending. I was also baffled that my debit card was charged $30 and the service was cancelled effective immediately even though I had been refused a refund.Desired Settlement: Refund. I can a business take your money, refuse a refund and suspend the subscription.
