The customer did purchase a Lifetime Oil Contract with usWe have been changing the customer’s oil for the past years, they have received well over 40+ Oil and filter changes under the contractWe will continue to honor the contract as sold for the initial purchase price of $While his last oil change did take longer than we anticipated, we look forward to vastly improving his experience on future visitsWe in no way put the customer’s vehicle before or after any other patron’s serviceThe order is determined by appointment time and waorderWe will continue to service the customer’s vehicle as we contracted years ago

None of these major repairs were revealed to meIf I was aware of these defects I never would have bought the vehicleI totally knew the fact that I was going responsible for repairs when I bought this, BUT NEVER expected major steering componentsThat, should not have been my responsibilityI did not know that until after I fixed itI feel so cheated and ripped offYou sold me that truck and assured me it was in excellent shape except for the tires, A/C and brakes, that was a lieAlso I want an answer as to why *** put the plates from my traon the truck, that cause me serious problems with law enforcementSelling a used vehicle that needs work is one thingSelling dangerous vehicles is anotherI am a disabled Veteran who deserves so much better than this

The vehicle in question was purchased as an “As-Is” vehicle. As the customer states, any additional repairs are the responsibility of the purchaser. The vehicle however did go through our point reconditioning process and several steering and other concerns were found and
addressed. The issues that the complainant is referencing were not found to be issues during that inspection. The vehicle has not been back to our shop to be re-inspected. The customer completed these repairs at other repair facilities on his own, prior to discussing the issues with us

am rejecting this response because: The original issue was not addressed. YOU knowingly sold me a vehicle with serious suspension and steering issues and telling me there was nothing wrong with it but just a few this. Like I said, I am a disabled Veteran, who now, cannot get around, go to doctor appointments or anything. That truck could have killed me or other people with that defect and it needs so much more to bring it up to basic standards. Would you be happy owning a vehicle you just bought that has serious defects as your Service Manager told me before I started this, 1. He told me some of the things that they already fixed, including the steering box, which in fact, if it was changed out , it was changed with a used one and not rebuilt 2. He said the transmission lines were replaced? they leak, plus so much more, then he told me and I quote " We put too much money in that truck already, we are not going to do any more." Like I said -- I WAS NOT TOLD OF THESE DEFECTS, I NEVER WOULD HAVE BOUGHT IT IF I KNEW. Please do the right thing, this is no way to treat a customer who has bought 4 vehicles from you because he trusted your company.

As a Chevrolet dealership, we even had the car taken to the local Honda dealership, [redacted], to see if there was something that they could duplicate and repair. [redacted], according to what the [redacted] personally told me, could not find anything...

wrong with the vehicle. I appreciate that they only have 400 miles left on their warranty, however, a past problem that isn’t occurring at the present has zero chance of getting repaired or replaced. As you are probably aware, if we can’t duplicate the problem, then we can’t repair it. The [redacted] can purchase an extension on their warranty before their current one expires, but not after. We will continue to service the customer’s vehicle as we contracted 10 years ago.

For 1500 when they won't honor the current one

The plates being placed on your vehicle at the time of purchase was a mistake.  The sales associate has been trained further on the process of transferring special plates.  At the is time the transfer has been completed and the plates are valid for use.

My name is [redacted]. I currently live with in [redacted]. I purchased a vehicle from Lithia Motors in [redacted] in June of 2015. I have attempted to resolve a recall issue. The recall I am referring to is a hood striker. This recall was announced June 13, 2015. The vehicle was sold June 28, 2015. I have tried several times to resolve this issue with this company. I went to [redacted] and was told that he refuses to help me. I brought this to [redacted]'s attention back in December. He stated he would order the parts. Later about a month or so, no call from Lithia. I called in February requesting a status on the parts. The parts had never been ordered. [redacted] or any of his staff never had attempted to order the parts. I was told the parts aren't available. At this time I told [redacted] I needed the consumer complaint line. I spoke with [redacted] from the corporate office in [redacted]. I spoke with [redacted] over the course of several days. I was told that they would bring this to [redacted]'s superior. I also at this time brought to their attention that their mechanics had not rotated my tires. I was told that my tires were defective but, worn. Lithia Motors is refusing to look at my tires or recalls. He is the general manager of Lithia Chevrolet of [redacted]. I am bringing to this to your attention due to not properly handling the safety recalls.

[redacted]Desired Settlement: Refund customer amount of tires $1020 due to no tire rotation being completed. I have tires on hand for proof of improper wear. Treat every customer with dignity and respect. Uphold warranties. Complaint against ASE certified mechanic. All services sent to Taylor Motors.
