the truck a was purchased over years ago we have done all we can do in our service and parts departments to help The customer lives in Kotzebue and the dealer cant be help responsible for freight costs because of location we always want our customers to be happy and we strive to make sure that happens, but year old cars do have issues sometimes

We met with [redacted] and [redacted] this morning and went over their concerns with the vehicle and documented the needed repairs The radio status has updated from back order status to shipped status with an expected arrival this week Once the radio arrives we will replace the radio and confirm all functions work correctly and address the other concerns at the same time

The customer was made aware of typing error on the window of the truckI spoke with the Sales manager and the Finance Manager and the Salesperson who all said the customer understood it was a misprint The NADA book value that was sent to the Bank for financing even said the Toyota truck was a SR Model The customer bought the truck well back of Retail book Value at the time of purchase, which was based off the SR model book sheet We communicated this to the customer again over the phone and in person at the time of the deal we feel we have done all we can for this customer.Steve ***Lithia Dodge of South Anchorage

vehicle in a safe acceptable condition, Lithia failed to preform routine quality craftsmanship that is standard across the industryBecause of their failure I paid additional out of pocket expenses to return my vehicle to a safe conditionTo offer in store credit for the cost of the repairs falls to short to holding them accountable for their unprofessional low standards of not only vehicle repairs, but also in customer service. Sorry for the inconvenience to the customer It sounds like the dealer in the states is doing all they can to resolve the problem under the factory warrantee. Have the customer keep in contact with the dealer about a factory resolution. Sounds like they have called the manufacturer and are
working on a resolutionNothing we can do if the truck is in another state

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: The claim by the dealership saying that I was made aware of the typing error is utterly fabricated. Not only did the window sticker have the wrong package and options on it, the vehicle itself is labeled on the outside as a TRD. It may be true that the correct NADA book value was sent to financing but the NADA book value that we negotiated with was labeled as an SR5 TRD valued at over 34k. When I pointed out that the window sticker price was different than the NADA book value sheet, the salesman said that the window sticker was showing an already discounted price. Also, when I asked about the vehicle having a key fob, the salesman looked online to see if the vehicle came standard with one, which he found to be yes so he then wrote me a We-Owe to have a key fob made, when the SR Worktruck package does not come standard with one.  This proves that the dealer nor I discussed the "typing error" until I approached them at a later date. Attached is a picture of the window sticker, the We-Owe, and a picture of the vehicle labeled as a TRD.Sincerely,[redacted]
