Absolutely the worst customer service I have experienced! The service manager hides in his corner office when you have an issue and sends his office staff and service advisors to deal with the issue. The general manager is an arrogant used car salesman with as much integrity as the bogus vehicle listings he posts on the website. This entity is as deceptive and unethical as they can legally get away with. Buyer beware as prices are super inflated, ads on the website are inaccurate and always take pics of your vehicle the day you buy it along with any recordable serial numbers as this outfit will bait and switch anytime they service your vehicle.

My experience with Audi of Des Moines was very negative. We purchased a 2009 Q5 in April of 2016 for around 20k. We went to renew our tags in Sept of this year and found out that the car wasn't registered in our names because the car didn't have a clear title. So I contacted the dealership and confirmed that the car we bought 6 months ago doesn't currently have a clear title and they have been trying to get the title signed over the last several months. This dealership never informed us of the issue with the title so we were driving around an illegal car with my 3 year old for the last 6 months. When we approached them about the situation they first wouldn't return phone calls. My husband actually went up to the dealership and couldn't get any of the managers to talk to him about the situation, they only said to take his number and they would call him back. Finally when he spoke to them they told him to continue driving the car and if we got a citation they would pay the ticket. Clearly this is a horrible practice. I went up to the dealership the next day and demanded a loner car until this situation was fixed. I had to throw a HUGE fit in the dealership to actually get the general managers attention on the situation. I threatened a lawsuit and I also contacted the DOT to start an investigation. Once we got the attention of the GM things finally started to move forward.... slowly. They gave us the option to refund the loan so we could start fresh on buying a new car or they could do a switch with us for a car of equal or greater value. Well doing a refund wasn't really an option for us because we would have to wait a month or so to have that reflect on the CBR before we could buy another car; of course we couldn't go without a car so the only option we really had was to allow them to switch out the cars... So finally in November we agreed on a 2010 Q5 with 20k less miles on the car. We did get a better car out of the situation, however, we had to start a NEW FREAKING LOAN 7 months later. We didn't have to pay anything else, but reviewing the paperwork the new loan was pretty much the same as the original loan of 20k. In the end, yes we got a better car, but this whole experience was horrible and stressful. So this is my warning to anyone out there looking to buy a trade in from a dealership. Watch out and make sure they have a clear title. The GM even told us that a lot of dealerships do the same practice and 99% of the time there are no issues with transferring the title, however we were lucky enough to be in that 1% who get screwed. Good Luck!
