Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
As stated in my initial complaint, when this electrical problem first happened Toyota asked me if I was ever in an accident, I stated yes but Toyota would not provide a statement on if the problem was from the accident so therefor I could never submit this to my insurance instead I had to pay out of pocket for the repairs.  Now Toyota is stating that the accident contributed to the issues I am having and after almost a year I am not sure if the insurance company will reopen the claim.  I am sure if Toyota would have stated this when it first happened it would of been a lot easier but I will see what the insurance company says.  If the insurance company will not reopen the claim I still feel like I have paid to have my truck fixed and the same problem keeps happening that should not.  The answer should not be just get rid of the vehicle.  Why can Toyota not figure out why it keeps happening.  It does say "Toyotas Service center can diagnose and repair any car problem big or small" well then why do I have to keep on bringing my truck back for the same issue that I paid to have fixed in the first place.  The dealership did replace the fuse for my truck twice free of charge.  They fixed the blown fuse free of charge in March but then stated it would not be free when it happened again in September.  Instead told me they would have to tear apart the dash to find the problem.  Kevin told me it was not the fuse again and in order for them to try to figure it out they would have to tear apart the dash.  After I told them to put my truck back together so I could get a second opinion, all of a sudden it was the fuse again and they replaced it for me free of charge.  I want to know why they assured me it was not the fuse in September and stated they had to tear apart the dash to see what they could find but once I said I wanted a second opinion it was just the fuse.   I feel like they were trying to rip me off.  I also want to know why, when my truck had the same issue 2 weeks after they said they fixed it, no one will call me back?  I never once said the electrical issues were related to the work the dealership performed but I don't think I am wrong for wanting the vehicle fixed as that is what I paid for already.Sincerely,[redacted]

We have contacted the customer and agreed to fix the heated seats at no charge to the customer.  I will provide documentation when the repair is completed.
