Review: In October 2013 I purchased an automatic litter box by littermaid at [redacted] in rogers Arkansas. The cost of this litter box with the waste containers was over 200.00. The first week of December it stopped working. I attempted to return the item but it was past the alloyed return policy. The store told me to contact the supplier. I emailed littermaid with my information. They requested the model number and date code off the product to see if it was still under warranty. The determined that it is indeed under warranty and requested I send in my proof of purchase and cut all internal wires and mail to them. I sent them the wires and proof of purchase at the beginning of February 2014. They said they have ordered my replacement unit and once they receive the wires and proof of purchase my replacement unit will be shipped out. After over a month, I still had not received the replacement. I emailed again and they said it was on back order and should be 4-6 weeks. I waited another six weeks and still no replacement. I emailed again and I did not receive a response. I waited another two weeks and emailed again, still no response. I have been working with littermaid since December 2013 to get a replacement product that I purchased for over 200.00 that only worked for 6 weeks. I would think this company would want to ensure a positive customer experience, but their lack of customer service has shown me they do not. All I want is the replacement unit I was promised. Five months of waiting seems way too long.Desired Settlement: I want my replacement unit and an apology for the lack of customer service and follow up provided by the company.
Review: I wrote into Littermaid back in January of 2014 regarding a Littermaid unit my husband and I purchased. It malfunctioned thru no fault of our own several times. Upon trying to redeem our warranty, their website did not function correctly to do so. I wrote in to tell them about this, and the fact that it malfunctioned. They responded with a letter saying that if we sent the correct information, and some serial number off of the unit, we would get our refund in 4-6 weeks. That was dated January 21st, 2014. According to the tracking number that I purchased as delivery confirmation, they received said package on January 28th. I have written them several times since then with only one response saying they did not receive the package. I have tracking that states otherwise. I am very upset as this unit was almost $200.00 purchase value, and my husband and I want a refund as they sold a defective unit. I had told them that if they did not get back to me, I would go to the Revdex.com and that is what I am doing. It has been over a week and no response. I feel that this is a poor way to conduct a business. All I want is our refund they said we were entitled to.Desired Settlement: Refund of the purchase price of $192.58 tax included.
