We received this complaint from this Parent regarding the the matter involving discrepancies in tuition chargesThe child was being charged by mistake of previous director for part-time tuition for almost two years and child was attending full time hoursHe was not charged any late pick up charges eitherParent was informed about this and asked to pay the correct amount going from? April 1st? when the error was detectedThey still want to continue with same old erroneous chargesSo when we refuse to honor these unacceptable demands, she filed a complaint with Revdex.comWe are not asking the past charges, we are asking only the correct charges from going forward from 4/1/

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: This was the school's oversight for more than two years, and an authority they allowed of their now previous directorIt's their responsibility-not the parents'The school would rather punish the parents than the director who was embezzling money from the school as it turns out, which is not the way to do business.I was yelled at and threatened to be sent to collections or that my son would be abruptly discharged, which violates Division of Family and Child Services's of a required two weeks notice and the school's own policies about their late fees. The owner wants us to pay for hours when we receive The owner sent a letter on May 1, for increased charges that included services already rendered, including the entire past month of AprilThat is illegal. My husband confronted the owner due to the threats, as we are not past-due for months of servicesThough we empathize for what's happened to the school and its raise-deserving staff that now has to suffer, this falls on the school-not the parents who chose the school for their pricing in the first placeEvery single parent is upset over this and should be treated with respect and compromiseThere should've been charges pressed for monies lost against the person stealing from the business and a parent meeting to announce notice of a future possible tuition increaseThat's how everyone comes together and understands to help one another.Because we do receive hours and not 6, we compromised at a slightly increased tuition-a conversation that should have happened some time ago with all parents and not gotten to the point where the Revdex.com even had to be involvedBefore this happened, we felt the teachers were like family to usMy son's teacher has turned a light on inside of him that changed him in so many wonderful ways that I can't put into wordsWe would be devastated to not have as much time with her as long as possible. We are thankful for this opportunity that in time led to a decent conversation and compromiseI wish the same for all the other families involved Regards, Brooke Patterson
