Little Blessings Daycare

Review: [redacted], owner of Little Blessings Daycare, owes me $60. That's $30 a day, for 2 days of daycare. I typically pay her 2 weeks in advance, on a Monday. If [redacted] (my daughter) were sick or the daycare was closed, I would short pay her the following check cut. (I have copies of all my checks written out to her, all with non-consistent dollar amounts.) Not once did she bring it to my attention that I was responsible for paying the week in full regardless of sick days or school closings. (We used her services for babysitting services from Sept. 2011 until Feb. 2013.)From January of this year, I have documented text messages from [redacted] stating that although it is against her policy, she will refund us the money for 2 days that [redacted] was out sick during the last 2 weeks of her enrollment.Between the end of January and the beginning of April I had to ask [redacted] on 5 separate occasions as to where my refund was. In the beginning I was patient. After hearing excuse after excuse I told her I wanted it by the end of the first week in April otherwise I was involving a third party. She told me she didn't like my attitude so she decided she didn't have to pay me back.A police report was filed on April 1st, 2013, the same day she told me she rather me put her in collections. That report number is [redacted].Desired Settlement: [redacted] said she would bring to our home, [redacted]'s school pictures, some of her personal belongings she left at the daycare, as well as our refund check. She kept her word on everything but the check. I would like for her to refund us the money.
