Yesterday I had my oil, oil filter and air filter on my BMW Zchanged by Jiffy Lube
Right after the oil change I noticed a change in my car, when it reached low idle at a stop light, sometime the car would shut off Then quickly after the 'Service Engine Soon' light came on
I took a quick look under the hood and could not identify the problem, so I made an appointment with Little Germany to check my vehicleCertainly an oil and air filter change could not be the issue I told myself, perhaps a bad alternator
Little Germany staff were the easiest people to work with that I have experienced in my years on the planet
As it turns out, Jiffy Lube staff had knocked the air flow sensor boot off, creating my idling problem and setting off fault codesLittle Germany reset the boot, cleared the dashboard codes and road tested my vehicle within a half hour
I could not be more impressed with their work and I highly recommend Little Germany to any foreign car owners in the Tucson area
Little Germany stresses the importance of customer service on their webpage, however this is a farce.
I took my VW Beetle in on Monday the 16th of February to have some work done on it. There was a coolant leak, temperature gauge was off, and some elements around the heating core needed to be replaced.
A man named [redacted] told us that he was NOT confident in his ability to work on my car without further damaging the heating core which he said would cost ME another $2000. I explained very simply if you break it, you buy it, and it should not be the customer's responsibility to pay for something that they, as a company, had broken. [redacted] told me word for word "I don't want to be responsible for the part if I break it." This is why I am having to pick up my car without a single problem having been fixed and take it elsewhere to have it serviced.
Little Germany needs to learn to take responsibility for their action.
I am shocked at how unprofessional they were through this entire situation.
I hope this saves others the trouble and hassle that I had to go through.
EDIT: Apparently when Little Germany did their diagnostic they completely forgot to mention at least three more things that needed repair on my car.
