Review: Purchased a vehicle 04/03/13 from this used dealership. The salesman ([redacted]) told me this car would pass inspection since I noticed it didn't have an inspection sticker present on it. Based on my receipt, this isn't an AS IS vehicle and it came with a limited warranty that covered certain defects. Could and still haven't been able to get it to pass inspection. The same salesman had me goto him more than a handful of times, trying to fix the problem which still exist. Even while after I surpassed my time frame to get the car inspected, the salesman keeps telling me to drive so I can do a drive cycle. Bought a [redacted], now at [redacted], still cant pass, and they tell me to goto a mechanic but wont cover the cost so why even goto that mechanic. Ive already invested brand new tires with warranty for the car worth over $500.Desired Settlement: This business has the responsibility to either refund the money back or fix the problem entirely. Once again, going with what my receipt has, this wasn't a AS IS vehicle as well as being the salesman told me the vehicle would pass inspect without a problem.

I am rejecting this response because:

Prior to buying the vehicle, I had inquired about the no present inspection sticker. The salesman told me to not worry, that it will "no doubt" pass inspection. I inquired about the no present inspection sticker after buying the vehicle and the salesman told me once again to not worry, just swing the car by the inspection station and it will pass. Now they are claiming they weren't able to guarantee out of state inspections, although this wasn't told to me until reading this. If my car failed in NJ, I would have failed in PA because PA does have harder restrictions when trying to pass emissions. I included a handful of failed inspection slips as well as my recent visit papers from a [redacted] Dealership. Had the car full inspected with them to tell me the problem. They said this car has multiple problems that would cost over 1k just in parts, not including labor. You will see a few prices which were the lower cheaper prices of all the parts, on top of me receiving a discount since I do know the guy who runs the parts department. Along with my receipt, and even with the paper Little Johnnys provided, this wasn't a "As Is" vehicle. Nothing states this a "As Is" therefore Im protected under the lemon law. The technician at [redacted] told me that they(as in whomever sold me the vehicle) sold me a faulty vehicle with multiple problems that will cost an enormous amount. If needed, ill get a letter from the technician in his own words the multiple faults in this car. No tune-up was performed on this vehicle, no belts were changed, this is regular routine things that should have been done before me getting the car. Just like the tires should have been inflated correctly but they weren't which one had a hole in after 3 weeks that I purchased the vehicle and that hole wasn't repairable which lead me to get 4 brand new tires. I also put money into this vehicle. It really does show how much of a dealership this is. It seems like we wont be able to get to a conclusion here therefore I might go up a step, and take some legal action.

I do appreciate a resolution being offered. Previously, I included the [redacted] Technicians papers, which he told me would be a process like Step to Step work because he couldn't and it seems like no one who has looked at the car could pin point the exact problem. When I had taken the car to [redacted] (Who [redacted] Referred me to), [redacted] himself couldn't find a problem. The [redacted] Technician said the Code thats coming up is solely a [redacted] specific code. How could I get in contact with you? My contact is ###-###-####.
