Excellent response time, the appraisal and work began as scheduled every time. The individuals that did the install left the work area cleaner than when they started. Very happy with their service and would highly recommend.
We live in a home built in 1962 and the basement windows looked terrible. We decided that glass block would look nice and let in light. We had a guy come out measure and take our order. When the installer came, several hours after expected he took out one windows and found that the windows he had couldn't be installed. He placed a panel of glass block I front of the window and came back the next week. They then still didn't have windows that would fit so they sent someone with the right windows while taking out every basement window and letting all the cold air in. They did get the windows in that day but left behind a terrible mess that I am still cleaning up. Cement dried into the carpet, chunks of cement all over the basement and a huge pile of broken window frame and cement behind my water heater. These guys were slobs and I would t let them near any of my friends homes.
Extremely professional and pleasant to deal with from the initial estimate to the completion of the egress window. Clean, fast and expert installation and constant follow up during the whole process.
We had 6 basement windows replaces with glass block. The installer was on time and did a great job everything was cleaned up before he left. The windows look great.
West Michigan Glass Block was professional, curious, and quick. Our windows were measured and installed in two weeks! We had glass block installed at a rental property in the garage and basement. I was amazed at how attractive, yet secure the windows are. They have transformed the whole look of the house. They let lots of light in, but are not transparent so no need for curtains. We plan on having glass block installed our home next.
The guys that installed our egress window were competent , professional , helpful , and amiable . We were extremely pleased with everyone with whom we worked from WMGB , from the salesman to the installers to the office staff . We highly recommend this company and its great staff .
My first experience with WMGB would have been negative, because the installer did a poor job of blocking in our well windows. You could see daylight around the perimeter (which means water could come in) and he dirtied the walls under the windows and didn't clean up after himself. I called to complain 3x, and when the manager looked at my pictures of the job, I was very pleased that they sent a top mason (Matt) to fix the job that very day. Matt did a great job and apologized for the trouble. He even cleaned up after the first guy and was very pleasant about it. Based on the second experience and the way they flexed their schedule to address my urgent situation, I can give a positive rating and recommend this business. Ask for Matt, and if he's not available, wait until he is.
