Mr [redacted] had approached me with wanting to know what the price would be when his children go to school However, I asked him would it be all children or just the children that do not attendHe stated, "Not sure because they go to [redacted] and the children are attending my facility in Elizabethtown I told him that I would try and get him a figure as soon as possible because I was also having to figure this for several more We have over school age children and I have to look at how many hours the children are attending and if we are picking up these children from school or not It hadn't been several months as the children only started on May 22, and he did not approach me until the first part of July.He came to me on Friday, July 21, and stated that he was going on a vacation and did not want to pay because he wanted to spend it on vacation.I explained to him that our policy is that unless the children have been here for one year you do not qualify for a free week but I would speak with my husband and we would approve to discount that weekly price but could not give him the week free because we were having to hold the spots for all of his children.When he returned, he was told the balance that was due and he refused to pay that amount and only paid for the current weekly amount He told the staff that he did not have to pay the $discounted rate for the week he was on vacation My staff then told him that he would have to talk to me, "***"in reference to this because the sheet she gave us has this amount on it.The following day he came in with the children and we also have a policy that if you owe a balance that care is refused until it is paid So the staff informed him that if the balance was not paid that he would not be able to leave the children He then began to scream, curse, said we were thieves, we always lie, and was slamming doors He also informed ***, my assistant that his wife is a social worker and he use to be in law enforcement and that we will regret this They told him to leave He continued to yell and asked where I was As for the doctors appointment, my six year old was getting an MRI and was having to be put to s*p, so they did not lie about me being away from the facility all day Mr [redacted] continued to ask for my cell phone, which is not given to any of the parents and considering I was in Louisville at this appointment I had poor service[redacted] did call the mother of the children approximately two hours after he left, because Mr [redacted] stated that the children would not be returning and we needed to find out from her since the contract is signed by her, the mother.When [redacted] spoke with the mother she stated that Mr [redacted] called her and said that we kicked the children out of the daycare for good [redacted] explained that no we did not that he said the children would not be back since we our thieves [redacted] then asked her if the children would be returning or not and the mother stated, "I will speak with him tonight and let you know." But if anything can my own children continue to attend [redacted] said that will not be a problem as long as the balance is paid in full.As for the cameras, yes we do have cameras and I have saved all the footage, as well as the microphones that are positioned throughout the hallways that picked up on his verbal behavior.Obviously Mr [redacted] is very much aware of our policy because he quoted it in his complaint so I don't understand why he is requesting a refund since we have a signed legal binding contract with all our policies on it The policy also states that if children are being terminated by the parent that they must give a two week notice and fulfill the notice or the facility can charge a week notice fee for each child, the $balance that is due, late fees {which is $per day that fees are late), court cost and any additional fees involved[redacted] Owner/DirectorLittle People's CDC###-###-####

I paid my weekly fee as I always do and thought everything was fine. I asked to speak to [redacted] And was told she would be there that evening when I would pick up the children. She was not there so I picked my kids up as normal. The next morning I was stopped and told they couldn't stay because of a balance due. I was never told the balance until then. This is why I say they are liars. They say they tell me this and didn't. My contract and my wife contract are completely different. I paid 350 upon arrival back from vacation. The receipt says [redacted] children paid 350. My wife only has to pay 150 a week which means she had a 50 dollar credit on her account as to my children, two foster kids I have I pay 180 a week for them. I was on vacation one week and was told that week would be discounted. At this point my wife was paid in full no discount given. I would owe 180 for the week, which they were not allowed to stay because they say I owe 230 not 250 as [redacted] stated. My wife and I are separated and she is a social worker so I pick up my kids from daycare until she gets home. Our contracts are completely different. Our children will not be back and I was told they could not return. I can not miss work so I had no choice but put them elsewhere. I did not break a two week notice since I didn't take them out of daycare. [redacted] is the owner and boss but has yet to call myself or my wife. [redacted] did call my wife as [redacted] stated but only to tell her I threatened her and wanted to know what the dea was. My wife was at work and couldn't talk. She has nothing to do with this issue. Yet she was denied service as well even though her children were fully paid for. This establishment is only about the money. They do not care about the children and my children have even stated how dirty it is and they are given vegetable soup daily and was given peas for breakfast. My wife has had to take her children to the doctor several times to include strep throat and hand foot and mouth for our children and when she called and asked the daycare why our two year old was covered in blisters the daycare did not even. Notice and he was literally covered head to toe. My 4 year old was hit by her granddaughter cutting his head and nothing was done because they said it was a accident because she was aiming for another child. My foster son was caught by my wife reviewing cameras fighting another child and no teacher was in the room. She called [redacted] about this and [redacted] said she would review the footage and call her back and never did. I have asked several times for the rate when school started as did my wife for our two youngest children. She even told [redacted] her self only they would keep going after school started and [redacted] then offered to figure out a way the second location could pick up the children so they could stay enrolled. I am not wanting anything from this business. I just wanted to be heard about my complaints. I have moved on as I'm sure the business has as well. I wish them well but my children will. Be going elsewhere and since [redacted] never called my wife back as [redacted] stated she would my wife had no choice but to place elsewhere as well.
