The guy was extremely rude and expected payment for doing no service to me at all and refused to fix the problem.We have a home warranty through [redacted] and they sent a plumber from Little River Plumbing to our house to fix an issue. We knew the issue was going to be possibly with the well pump which was not covered. The guy came out and was smart and rude to me. He basically said I didn't tell him what the problem was and I should have let him know. Well, I'm not a plumber and if I knew the problem I would have been able to fix it myself. He said the warranty did not cover the well pump and I said that's fine, I will pay him to do the job...I just want water to my house of 3 children (we had been without it Saturday, Sunday, and most of Monday by this time). He proceeded to tell me "It's 4:30 and I'd like to go home and go to bed too" He then comes to me with an invoice for $65 for what we pay people to come out through the warranty company. He did not do anything and we were no better off when he left than we were when he came out there. He gave us no information and did not offer to even fix the problem and he wanted me to pay him $65. I'm not paying someone $65 to do nothing at all. I actually had another plumber come out shortly after he left and within 10 minutes he figured out the problem and is out there today fixing it. Why couldn't this guy from Little River had done this? And...why was he so rude to me, a customer?Desired SettlementI did not pay the man the $65 he was asking for and I would like for that to be taken off the books. I also would like for our warranty company to never send his company to my house again (which they said they would take care of).Business Response In reguard to Mr. [redacted] complaint : I am the owner of Little River Plumbing And Pump Co. We are located in [redacted] My name is [redacted]. I have been self employied for over 35 years and had many satified coustomers. I went to Mr [redacted] home on December the 1st of 2014. I drove over an hour to get to the home. Before going there I had explained to Mr [redacted] that his insurance company who I was representing, did not cover any thing to do with his well pump system. He told me that the problem was not with the pump system as he had had some one repair that problem the day before ... Well upon arrivel I discovered that it was a problem with the pump and went ahead and tried to solve the problem, with out pay ! I was kind to Mr [redacted] and explained the whole matter again and was supprised as to his reaction and to this report with Revdex.com . I am glad Mr [redacted] resolved the pump problem at his home, but I feel that I went above and beyond the expectations of the insurance company and worked with Mr [redacted] to the best of my ability . Mr [redacted], in my opinion, was very hard to deal with in this matter. I explained to him, also why I could not repair the pump that evening.Thankyou,[redacted]Little River Plumbing and Pump Co.[redacted]Consumer Response Don't have much more to say except for the fact that he was NOT kind about this whole situation and did come to me with an invoice expecting me to pay him when he didn't do anything. I understand that he couldn't fix the pump that evening but didn't act like he would even come out the next day to fix it and then asked me to pay him. He then acted like it was my fault that he "wasted" a trip up to me when it wasn't something that he could fix. I am not a plumber so I did not know what the problem was but he told me I should have told him in a rude way. All I want is for the $65 he tried to charge me to go away and for him not to come here anymore (which the warranty company says they are taking care of).Final Business Response I will report to the warranty company.
