Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: This response is filled with lies and mistruthsRegarding my original complaint I kept my complaints briefHowever reading the businesses response I am compelled to re-assure my decision to file my complaint with the Revdex.comYes I do work a full time job with unconventional hours however I have a wonderful support system in my home. My dad did drop my daughter off at 6:30am and was there to pick her up by 5:pm not the allotted time that the response indicatesIn the Business response they solidified the feeling of my child being in daycare for long periods of hours........which is what I was told by a staff member she didn't see how I could do itAny adult with a child working a Full Time job needs child care for more than hoursMy child was enrolled in the daycare for a little over a month being as though she is my first child I did visit during my breaks had she been there longer I would have gained trust with the staffI am a concerned parent and I explained to them that this was her first time in a daycare and I was used to seeing her during my break being as though her sitter was next door to my homeI never sat in the hallway because I didn't want to take my boots off I did that as to not disturb the classroom setting with infants and newbornsHowever on one occasion I was told by the staff member that I didn't need to take my shoes off to go to the diapering station(I was going to change my daughters diaper that was wet during one of my visits) The work that was sent home was just a small factor in the matter it just went to show why I felt the need to remove my child whom cannot speak for herself and tell me "Hey mommy that's not my work". I live with my dad so anything that comes home is never lost or misplacedI feel shunned by this letter as well as staff with regards to the care and home life of my childNever did I say my child was allergic to whole milk however due to an ear infection "I" chose to take her off whole milk and give her soy while she was taking antibiotics no one ever stated that she was allergic nor did she have a rashAnd after they were told not to give her soy any longer they still gave it to her anyway and never informed my dad of any of the details listed in the responseWhen I called to ask why she was still given soy my mother was on the phone in which a staff member informed her that she didn't know because they don't communicate with the staff that are there in the morningI did not give the business a two weeks notice because on the date that I decided my child was not "SAFE" I didn't feel comfortable with her being there another day. On her last day I was called because she was running a feverI was informed by staff previously that they give the children one dose of *** if I filled out the paper work properlyWhen I went to pick her up I asked if they had given her *** they said "NO they did not because they didn't know if someone else had given her some of the medication that was unopened and in a sealed boxLater on per conversation with the staff member I asked her to speak to my mom she told my mother once again they didn't know if she had some alreadySo she asked her if her fever would have spiked more what would she had done she said call the ambulanceshe never thought to ask when she called for me to come get her did she have some *** so at least she could have prevented my child going into a seizure before I got there. I can now list all of the other things that went wrong while she was there for the brief period of timeThey were informed of EMERGENCY protocol if something was wrong with my child who to call firstI listed the order of numbers being as though my job requires me not to have my phone They called me first anyway and I told them they broke protocol and the response was "Oh this wasn't an emergency" after I was asked to come get my daughterHer father went to pick her up one day and he is not the usual person who gets her and he wanted to show his id and the staff member said "That's ok"The work they sent home that I asked for that was dated the previous week in which she wasn't even enrolledI informed the staff member that my daughter had a dentist appointment and she sucked her teeth as if to say why am I taking a year old to the dentistI was called to pick her up due to diarrhea and when I got there she was sitting down to a plate that included beans. I filled out the consent to give *** and it was sent back home with the response that I never filled it out and the staff pretended to put new papers in the bagMy daughter now attends a daycare that accepts her at the same hours with no worries and if the business is concerned about infant care times they should restrict infant care hours as to not make full time working parents feel as though they are wrong for there child being in a facility for any hours a dayWhen you are working hard to provide a quality life for your child a bit of guilt does ensue going to work and leaving your child in daycare for ANY period of timeI do not need a facility who got paid my hard earned money to question any of my work lifeThis complaint should not come down there may be other parents who aren't as lucky as I am to have help and be able to pay for people to care for there child that week and hold on to there security deposit. Three months later I finally received my refund that was guaranteed no longer than 30-daysWhich goes to show that they don't even follow there policy that they have in writing for themselvesThey are unprofessional

March 5, 2015Dear [redacted],This letter is in response to your letter dated February 23, 2015, ID [redacted]. Please see the following to dispel all complaints and concerns regarding this case. The client alleges that a conversation ensued between she and a staff person that cannot...

be considered as factual as no one was present but she and the staff person. Upon discussing the matter with the staff person, it is understood that the parent works very long hours and has the infant in childcare for very long periods of time from 6am to 6pm. The parent would often come in on her lunch hour and ask to see the child. The parent shared that she did not get to see the child very often due to her work schedule. “She made reference to the fact that when she leaves in the morning, the baby is asleep and when she returns at night she is asleep. Further, that the grandfather transports the child to and from school for that reason. It is not unreasonable for a staff to be concerned about a young child that is in care for 12 hours a day. This conversation was brought up at the parent’s concern. Also note many times mom would come to the Center for a brief visit with the child and sit out in the hall because she didn’t want to take her boots off and come into the child’s class room. Our policy is to remove shoes upon the entrance of the Infant classroom. In regards to work being sent home, often it was set home with the grandfather, but most often the mother did not come to the Center, so it is reasonable to suggest she did not get it or any other communication regarding the child due to the fact that she was not the one that picked up or dropped off the child on a regular basis.Regarding the soy milk, the child was given the soy milk by the parent who brought it in the child’s containers. The mother indicated that she did not want the child to drink any other milk than that she provided. It was said that her concern was due to an allergic reaction that the child developed to cow's milk. The mother said cow's milk causes a rash and that the doctor recommended that she not drink it. The mother did not discontinue sending in the soy milk. When we discussed changing the type of milk with her, we let her know that a doctor's note was needed for her to go back to another type of milk (that was said to cause an allergic reaction) because she said soy milk was the only approved milk by the doctor. Mom did not bring in a note from the doctor to stop using the soy milk. With regards to the refund for her security deposit and one week tuition that the child did not attend, she is entitled to a refund for the one week security deposit. Our policy is to have an exit interview for the parent to share their comments regarding the Center. At the exit interview, we normally have the parent sign to acknowledge receipt of the refund check. This will finalized and close-out her account. She is welcomed to call us at ###-###-#### to schedule an appointment to complete this task. However, the parent is not entitled to any other refund because our withdrawal policy is to submit, in writing, a two week notice. In this case, the parent did not give a two week notice upon her departure, as required. Please also be advised, we are a license Center and have met all the requirements for licensure and to operate as a designated Center that provides quality care. While we are not able to always keep all parents happy in every situation, our goal is to provide quality care, as we have provided for this child and all the children in our Center. The nature of this parent’s alleged allegations in no way reflect the quality of services we truly provide. We thank you for the opportunity to respond to this parent's concern and if you schedule permits, we welcome to visit our center in the future.Sincerely,Lawrence G, CEO
