Little Toy Angels Pet Service Reviews (2)

About months ago, Mathew came in and wanted us to prepare his taxes. We looked over his paperwork and advised him that his wwas not enough to file and that he would have to wait and get his from his investment companyWhen he obtained that document in mid-February, we finished
up his returnWhat he didn't know is that his father had signed him up for Marketplace insurance (Obamacare) earlier in the yearFast forward to a few days ago and he gets a letter in the mail from the IRS explaining that he needs to report this on his tax returnHe returns with his father who is agitated and belligerent and blaming us for "screwing up his kid's return"I looked at the letter and explained that Marketplace insurance has to be reported on his tax return and that he will have to supply us with his 1095A tax documentMathew continues in confusion as to why he would have Marketplace insurance at all in the first placeThe father keeps mumbling under his breath how we "fked up his kid's return" and this would have never happened "if he had just used Turbotax"Trying my best to ignore the father, I got Mathew on the phone to the Marketplace so that he could order a replacement formThe father continues to mumble under his breathKnowing that this is entirely the father's fault, I finally asked him why he signed his kid up on the Marketplace when he already had insurance through workHe goes on to explain that Marketplace insurance is the greatest thing on Earth because he only pays $a month for it! (The son is going to be paying back hundreds and possibly thousands). He then continues to mumble under his breath about how his son should have just used Turbotax and this would have never happenedI explained to him that this is exactly what would have happened, not to mention that his investment income would have also not been reportedHe keeps going on and on about how this is our fault and we should give his son $(the amount of his refund). I've finally had enough. I asked the father to explain precisely how this is our fault when the son didn't even know that he was on the MarketplaceHe couldn'tHe just kept on rambling about Turbotax and how great the Marketplace isI told him that he's not our client and that he's not allowed to come into our place of business and act like a jerkI walked away and they left a few minutes later.Shortly after they left, I sent Mathew an E-mail explaining that we could generate the form that he needs as soon as he gets the 1095A from the Marketplace. I also explained that his father is not welcome in our establishment. He took offense to this.Although Mathew was present when his father and I were talking, he was on the phone with the Marketplace for the bulk of the time and was not able to pay attention to the conversation. I'm sure that his father would have described me as defensive, loud, and rude. The fact is that the father is not our client. We do not allow people come into our place of business to insult, belittle, and abuse us. I handled the entire situation as calmly as possible under the circumstances. We obviously don't appreciate it when someone disrupts our workplace with accusations and profanity.I am aware that Mathew also called our Waukesha location. I was not part of that conversation and that office is under different management. In closing, I would like to say that Mathew is our client and he was treated with the highest respect. His tax return was filed accurately based on the information that he provided us. We have offered to help him with the additional forms that he is required to file, but he has declined. I cannot offer apologies to how his father was responded to. It's unfortunate that he chose his father as his advocate. I think that his father was attempting to shift the blame for the possibly illegal mistakes that he made. I also cannot offer a refund as his tax return was prepared 100% accurate based on the information that he provided.Sincerely,

Taken via phone: I have already sent her a partial refundI have since spoken to the customer and she is aware that she will receive the rest of her refund when the puppy sells
