This patient underwent a surgical procedure which required out-of-network services, as many procedures do; her bill was paid at a fraction of the charged rate by her insurance company; the remaining amount is typically owed by the patient, and
is typically written off; in this case, a marginal billing company working on behalf of the assisting company, Littleton surgical Services, did not follow up in a timely fashion with the patient, and did not write off the balance of the bill as is universally done when the insurance company pays some portion of the bill; what the billing company claimed about asking the surgeon for guidance on this balance billing is simply falseI wish this patient well in the future

This answer did not answer my question of....do I still owe the *** after now years? And this is a comment rather than a complaint..the lady in *** I spoke to said you chose to go forward with billing me after yearsShe said she understood how I felt, butI did not make that upI wish you well in the future alsoHowever, don't you think years is a little late to ask for payment?
