Liturgical Publications, Inc. Reviews (5)

I would not recommend advertising with this company. I agree with the other reviews, very poor business practices. They said they talked with us on the phone and told us that we agreed to things that we did not. It doesn't set well when the advertising company for a church lies!! Of course it is a he said she said situation. We will not advertise with them again. Better off making a donation to the church!!

Review: During sales presentation was omitted fact about term contract, that can't be cancelled under any conditions. After publications started, it become obvious that publication quality, customer service and publications' market is not satisfying and doesn't benefit our company. When request about service cancellation was made in July 2013, Liturgical Publications sales representative [redacted] refused to cancel the publication due to oral agreement for 12 month term contract and it can't be cancelled. It wasn't mentioned or presented to us in any form that it is a oral term contract that, when agreed to, can not be cancelled under any circumstances. As a business owner, I think it is unacceptable and disturbing business practice and want to be released of that "contract" obligation and refunded for unwanted services.Desired Settlement: Refund the amount for Liturgical Publications Inc unsatisfactory publications after first notification in July 2013 about cancellation by SweetComplete LLC. Liturgical Publications state that contract is till April, 2014, so refund should be for the total of 8 month.

Bad Business signed up for advertising in a Church bulletin. No proof sent for our review, Had to call and to get the publication just to see our ad. IT WAS TERRIBLE. Bad graphics, Placement was not even centered or even, Buyer beware.

My ad cost $360 for 12 publications (the lowest ad available) and I received ZERO contacts. I was told that the church members support the business' that place ads in their bulletin so I decided to give it a try. I had opened a new childcare business and had openings available. I found it to be a very ineffective way to advertise and I advise against it unless you just want to donate to the church. Personally I have my own church I would rather donate to. I wish I would of checked reviews online before taking out this ad because $360 is a lot of money for nothing in return.

They had a their sale man call my emergency cell phone during business hours to try an make a sale. I was very confused said please email any further corraspondences and I will approve or disapprove. I received a email from the sales man that was not what I wanted. So I deleted the email and denied any approval. A few weeks later I get a $400 bill that says I must pay. So after 2 phone calls to Liturgical Publications they assure me I am all set the bill would be canceled. A month later they send another notice that I owe $60 now. I called again a service rep. assures me I will get the $60 credited. Just got a new letter saying they are sending my $60 overdue account to a collections agency. This company is a trap and is trying to ruin my perfect credit rating
