Review: I recently found and applied for a job on Indeed.com (my issue is not with them--they have also been notified of the situation). As required on the link, I uploaded my resume to apply to the job, and wound up being taken to [redacted] instead, which means this clearinghouse with a horrible reputation now has all my info. There was absolutely nothing that stated I wasn't applying directly to the company or I never would have submitted it; I got a horrible sinking feeling the minute I realized what I'd done.

Starting that night, I started receiving calls and texts in the middle of the night. Could that be a coincidence? Possibly, but my number isn't listed anywhere, and other than maybe a couple wrong numbers, I've never gotten calls like that. It's 4 in the morning and I'm calling because I got 8 calls in a row tonight until I finally realized my do not disturb was set to allow calls that rang twice from the same number (although this one says "no caller ID") within a couple minutes of each other to go through. I've fixed that, but still felt compelled to file a complaintDesired Settlement: I know in the digital age, this is likely impossible, but I want my resume out of their system. I want an email confirmation, an apology for their misleading ways (and for them to be forced to fix that). Granted, they have an F rating, so I don't really expect anything from them, but it can't hurt to ask, and maybe more complaints can hurt them more. I've already unsubscribed myself from all their emails, but that doesn't help with either the deceptive practices or the harassing calls. Thank you.

Review: I signed up with this website in hope to find a job. Because they said in the terms that if I sign up for 3 months term there is a guaranteed condition, which means that if I didn't find a job in 6 months I will get 6 month free membership on that website. Started calling and emailing them after 6 month when they kept charing me and told them I am still looking, and your job inventory is very limited, no one got back to me, and once they did they told me you have used this service so we can not give you any money back, you can cancel your service for the next 3 months terms if you like! I said find I will cancel, and they still charged me 3 months later, and after few emails and getting help from [redacted] and disputing they gave one of my charges back to me (after getting nsf charges and all that hassle) After one year or more now I still haven't been able to get my money back or get any free service from them. So please do not sign up with this website, a total fraud, and their jobs are actually coming from other job search websites as well.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my money back, whatever I was paid to this website, since I never got the service and I never got a job from them either despite their advertisement.

Hello,

As per our records the users account was cancelled on [redacted] June 2013 & not in March.

It is already mentioned in our terms as well as on the payment page that its a Auto recurring subscription & if user is not willing to continue with the account, user can login & cancel the account anytime before the end of the payment cycle so that account does not renew & user is not charged further.

We have also mentioned in the terms that to avail the offer of 3 or 6 months free subscription, user needs to send the mail to us before 2 days of end of their current payment cycle that they are still in a search of job , so that we can provide them with the free subscription offer.

We also provide a optional check box for the user on the payment page which on selecting, user will receive a intimation mail of renewing their account in advance so that if user are not willing to continue their subscription they can login & cancel their account.

As the user has cancelled the account on the day it was renewed i.e. On [redacted] June 2013, we have refunded the user the same day charges.

But as the user had used the service for the past period so it is not refundable.

We have attached 2 files, one contains the user details & another contains the terms of the site which says that we have a recurring subscription until user cancel the subscription.

Below is the user’s account details

Review: The company has attempted to charge my credit card for services I did not authorize. They used threatening language such as "your credit may be affected" and "payments must be settled promptly, as we pay in advance to service and host each active account within our system." Also stating, "This debt must be cleared immediately. As a courtesy, we will give you a grace period. If the payment is not settled by 60 days after the declined payment, you will be subject

to a $50 surcharge and your credit may be affected." They further stated that, "If you want to cancel your membership, you first have to settle your overdue amount,

Click to :Pay overdue amount. After you pay overdue amount, go to 'Manage' then 'Account" and then you can cancel." [THERE IS NOT OVERDUE AMOUNT]

Just so I am clear, I did use this service months ago for a one-time service, but did not authorize this company to charge my credit card for any additional services. This company uses pressure tactics to scare individuals.Desired Settlement: This company needs to acknowledge its predatory practices and refund all charges beyond the initial business engagement. No charges were authorized beyond the initial engagement and no services or products were ever received from this company.

Response to Case # [redacted] We have acknowledged this wording on our terms which initiated 5 years ago. We have agreed to take this wording off our site. It is completed. We have cancelled your account and no payment is due. Regarding giving all funds back from before initial business engagement, this is what you have agreed to. “General Information I, the customer, fully understand that my subscription will automatically renew unless I cancel the subscription online before the next billing cycle. I must cancel my account at least 24 hours before my renewal date in order to not be charged. I also understand that [redacted] pays in advance to service and host each active account in the system. If I fail to cancel before the next billing cycle, I understand that I am responsible for the installment billing. I will not be emailed upon upcoming billing dates and I will be charged unless I cancel online. I also understand that I am responsible for my subscription costs even if I do not log in, as I am still receiving Resume and/or Profile exposure to Employers, and jobs are being sourced for me as an Active user.”

Sincerely,

Review: I had called back in May of 2013 to cancel my services and reached a woman who said she had cancelled it for me and that I would receive a confirmation email. I never did. Then in August of 2013 I was charged the fee of $48.00 again for the services, but I cancelled them. So I called the number they provided and it was disconnected, I then emailed their customer service email address but heard nothing back from them. I finally found another number for them and finally talked to "the owner" who was incredibly rude to me and told me he doesn't just give out free money since he didn't believe that I truly cancelled my account. To shut me up he said he would look into it and get back to me. A week later he emailed me saying he would not refund my money. I had to cancel my accountant again online. To be sure they will never take money again I had to change my bank info but I still deserve my refund since I did cancel back in May!!!!Desired Settlement: $48.00

Hello,

As per our records the user’s account was cancelled on [redacted] September 2013 & not in May. We haven’t received any mail of cancellation from the user in May.

As the subscription was renewed on [redacted] Aug 13, before the user’s mail for cancellation i.e. on [redacted] Aug 2013, hence it is not refundable.

It is already mentioned in our terms as well as on the payment page that its a Auto recurring subscription & if user is not willing to continue with the account, user can login & cancel the account anytime before the end of the payment cycle so that account does not renew & user is not charged.

Review: I want to cancel my membership subscription with Creative Jobs Central. The company's phone number listed on my credit card statement

has been disconnected. The number listed on an internet search has a recording saying "call back later that the voicemail box for this number is full."Desired Settlement: Cancel my membership subscription. I do not want to receive charges next month for this service.
