Review: Purchased country mega tickets, the last concert was over sold. Unable to get into renue even though I purchased VIP parking. Missed both opening acts

I purchased two country mega series tickets to the First Niagara pavilion in early spring 2013. The seats were in section 8 row K, seats 7 & 8 pavilion seating. I left for the concerts around 5PM, both on Friday dates and Saturday concerts. We always arrived timely with having enough time to "tailgate" prior to entering the facility and the first acts performing. After being to this facility for seven previous shows, we took the extra step of obtaining VIP parking (purchased under my wife's name, [redacted], parking [redacted] A $25.00 order number [redacted]) This would have been the third time we purchased the VIP parking, which helped in what I consider the facilities biggest problem, parking. The night of the concert arrived, we left home 15 minutes earlier than normal, 4:45 PM. According to my GPS we were stopped waiting in traffic 2.4 miles away from entering the facility to park. When we got to the entrance of the facility, the local police attempted to send me beyond the facility. I stopped and told the officer I paid for VIP parking, his response was, the lots are full, you will have to talk the "them" about that. We then drove down route 18 and parked at the Pepsi Road House and walk about a half a mile to get to the gates.

Once I got inside I went to a couple customer service employees explaining what happened, even went and filled out a "formal complaint" at the customer service station near the box office. After doing so, I was told "[redacted]" follows up on all the formal complaints and I should be expecting her to contact me for resolution. This obviously did not happen causing me to submit this complaint.

By the time I got to my seat, the first two acts were over, both Florida Georgia Line and Thompson Square. It was obvious that this event was over sold surpassing the 23,000 capacity. The disappointment in missing the first two acts was shared by several paying customers not able to get into the lots and to their seats. This facility has been in place since 1990, and it is a shame that the parking is terrible. Because of this we will not be attending any more events at the First Niagara Pavilion, and according too a couple of other folks we sat by during the concerts, neither will they.

The folks that run this place need to go to [redacted], [redacted] or any place that understands the first step to having happy customers is to get them on property in an easy timely fashion. The entertainment here this summer was awesome, the parking here is the terrible. I could not imagine sending my kids to this place by themselves because the parking is that bad.Desired Settlement: I want reimbursed $160. 00 for the cost of my concert tickets and $25.00 for the VIP parking I paid for.

Review: I attended a concert for Jimmy Buffet on August 17th. I bought an item at the merchant sales booth. It was very late. The shirt I wanted was $30. However, the shirt was not in my size. I instead bought a beach towel that cost $35.00. I did not look at my receipt because I was with my 74 year old father who suffers from severe COPD. When I did look at it the next day, I realized I was charged for both the shirt and towel. I called the merchant to try and get a refund. They refused and directed me to my credit card company. I filed a complaint with the bank and was denied. I called the merchant yet again. She pretty much called me a liar and said she had over 100 complaints from that concert sales booth. She couldn't give refunds to everyone and refused me. I even explained to her that a very young girl, not more than 16 if you ask me handled the purchase and again it was 11:30 at night after a concert that had 27,000 people at it! The sales girl obviously forgot I purchased only the towel and charged me for the shirt as well. I know $30 is not a lot of money but it's the principal of the thing for me now. If you need proof that my father has COPD, I can provide that. It took us literally 1/2 hour to get back to the handicap parking from our seats. All I am asking is for a break. I am NOT a liar and it was quite ignorant the way the woman spoke to me. I want a complaint filed immediately with this company. They obviously hire underage employees to handle sales at a small booth and only about 3 people working for concerts. They need better control and employees that know what they are doing. Why should I lose $30 because they are incompetent.Desired Settlement: I want my $30 I was charged back. It was from my personal debit card account. I may as well have just thrown $30 out my car window as a freebie! I only bought a towel for $35 and can prove it! If they don't want to refund my money, then give me a credit or at least a Buffet Shirt that I was chanrged for incorrectly!
