Bid to cut two trees The tree cut in the back was to be left where it landed, they took the logs that they wanted, which was agreed However, the tree in the front yard was taken down, and not removed, very little cleanup was done, we did not expect clean up, due to estimate states "We will haul off the oak logs We do not haul away the mulch created from the stump grinding" We paid and asked if the logs would be removed after the tree in the front yard was cut down We were told they would remove That was our mistake in trusting their verbal word Have tried since Sept (now it is nearing end of Dec 2016) to contact and have job finished, as in to please remove the tree Little to no contact, in the beginning, via text, "log truck on another job, will get to you", then told, "I have not forgotten about you, maybe you can try Craigslist" Then told, "I was unaware that the guys had cleaned up the yard and Dave had taken the wood that he needed Thus, we are not coming back because we have already done work not paid for and you have not paid for any landfill fees for the debris to be dumped" Keep in mind, we were not informed of this until I left three text messages and still have to count how many emails I have sent, also nowhere on estimate, does it state there are any fees Needless to say after we explained our situation that we do not have the equipment to remove the taken down tree, we requested a price to have tree removed Again, total radio silence To this day, I have a tree in the front yard, which my husband has tried to neaten the area as much as possible, which is becoming the joke of the neighborhood for the "natural curb appeal" To put into a nutshell, we paid good money which they cashed the check but not finished according to written estimate Horrible professionalism
