Live Out Loud, Inc. Reviews (11)

Live out Loud fraudulently misrepresented their programs with the intent to sell. On October 16, 2014 I purchased the 100k Challenge program. I was surprised by the price of the program, but was led to believe by the salesman that if was a complete consulting program to get my business off of the ground. I believed that I would be working with successful entrepreneurs, with the knowledge I needed to get my business started. The contract I signed did not show that I was purchasing TWO programs. I did not see an invoice until after the three day "grace period" for a refund was over. I requested a refund, and was denied. I had paid $10,500 by credit card for both programs. I am now requesting a refund of $5,250 for the one program. Though I should be requesting a full refund.I then spoke to [redacted], their representative. We discussed whether the program would be a fit for my daughter who had authored a novel. She said that they had consultants on staff that had books published. So we assigned the EXTRA program to my daughter. The problem lies in that I was unaware at the time that the program had been misrepresented to me by their salesmen. It turns out that the consultant is one lady that we can speak to eight times during the first year at 30 minute intervals. The rest of the program is pre-recorded videos and reading materials. It is a business startup course, not a consulting program. This information is not at all beneficial to my daughter, and the only advise she has been given is to sell her book one chapter at a time. Not very beneficial since the book has already been self-published and sells on [redacted]. The program is not at all what I had envisioned after speaking to the salesmen. I spoke to several, the man that put us under contract was [redacted], I wish I could remember the other names, they all painted a picture of a consulting program, where I would speak to consultants with expertise in individualized areas of starting a business, such as marketing, licensing, sales, accounting, etc. I was very disappointed with the program, but tried to work with it. I was trying to be optimistic that I hadn't been robbed of my money. While in the process of putting my marketing program together, I made another huge mistake. I was contacted by [redacted] of Live out Loud. He said that he was told that I would need help putting the money together for a proper marketing campaign. He proposed that I enter into their real estate investing program. He said that the program would be me one to one with a real estate investor that would take me by the hand every step of the way. He said my mentor would even make the first sale for me so that I could see how it was done. Then the mentor would be at my side until I felt comfortable with what I was doing. I was told that they were in the process of hiring more mentors, but the one I would be assigned would be experienced in sales nationally and internationally since the real estate market in my area was poor. He said that I could easily have my first sale done before Christmas. Optimistic I paid the $5,000 on November 24, 2014, by credit card. The program didn't even start until after the first of the year. I called many times trying to find out who my mentor was, and when we were getting started. I was given a run-around at first, then was told it was [redacted]. I then found out from him that he didn't even have the program together yet. I was pacified by [redacted] sending me material to review and told to research different markets. Then I was blind sited. I was told that the CLASSES would begin in January. There was no single mentor holding my hand. I was lied to again. I feel like a fool with rose colored glasses on. On May 27th, 2015, I requested a refund by sending them a letter via email. I had a request by [redacted] to speak to him two days later. I told him that I was available at any time. I have not been contacted further.Desired SettlementI am requesting a full refund of the extra 100k Challenge program at the cost of $5,250.I am requesting a full refund of the real estate investing program at the cost of $5,000.I believe that Live out Loud should also refund me a partial refund for the 100k Challenge I had intended to purchase, but was misrepresented. I am requesting $2,500 to be refunded. At this time, I believe only a refund would be sufficient to be compensated for programs that were completely misrepresented.Business Response [redacted] (Client) initially joined $100k coaching program, and was to be working with her daughter on that program. Then she joined the Real Estate As Leverage program Modules 1 and 2. Here's a summary of my communications and experience from things that she has mentioned either in emails or in conversations. 1) I did onboarding with [redacted], she expressed from the beginning some financial problems. I provided her with a couple of additional sessions, at least 45 minutes or longer each to discuss her direction. She was struggling with what her cash machine would be, and also wanted me to talk with her daughter [redacted]. I tried through [redacted] and also attempted to schedule time with [redacted] directly, that never ended up happening. 2) [redacted] then joiined the Real Estate program, Modules 1 and 2. In welcoming her, she was disappointed that the program was not starting immediately. I later found out that she spent money without conferring with her husband and expected to do a deal quickly enough to replace it. [redacted] was the first person to join the program for this time period, but I had explained that we would not start until we had a few enrollments. I sent [redacted] some emails with some instructions on getting started and had two one on one sessions with her to help her get started before the group sessions began.3) She claims that she was told things in the sales process that are not included in the agreement form. I have explained to her that we cannot give claims as to how soon or how much money you will make, and that this is a long-term strategy for success, not a quick cash process, and that she would need to work with her $100k coach on her existing business, which I think is hypnosis, for a more quick cash approach. 4) [redacted] was very inconsistent in attending live sessions, I think she may have attended 2 out of 6 of the REAL sessions in Module 1. Of course, we make all of the information available via recordings, powerpoints, document and script files that she could reference. We began sessions right after the holidays, at the beginning of January, and added an additional recording each week. She had immediate access to all information as it was created through a dropbox folder.5) When we started Module 2 of REAL, [redacted] complained that she was told that the entire program was about Wholesaling. I had informed her in Welcome session that we would be covering a variety of strategies, beginning with Wholesaling in Module 1, then Rehabbing and Sandwich Lease Option/Seller Finance in Module 2. I explained that this would include two strategies that require very little money and no credit in order to be able to complete successful transactions.6) [redacted] informed me in one private call that she was going to be working with a remote market, then it appears that she shifted to her small market in southwestern [redacted], and was having difficulty finding properties and buyers. She also complained that she heard from someone that wholesaling doesn't work--I asked if the person had done any successful deals. She said no. I informed her that I had worked with thousands of people over the years, and that the active ones had all put deals together, including during current market conditions, and encouraged her to broaden her methods of finding both properties and cash buyers. In summary, regardless of the program, whether $100k or the Real Estate program, [redacted] has had more to say in complaint about what she was told, or what she felt doesn't work, or the amount of help she received from us, or our response time, etc., than any positives. I have personally spent more time with [redacted] privately coaching her than with 98% of the rest of the people who join the program. We have people using the same instructions as were given to [redacted] and putting deals together in various locations around the country, so it cannot be the information, we're teaching the same things we have taught to thousands of successful investors over 18 years of investing and coaching. [redacted] chooses to focus on what isn't working for her rather than finding a solution, and we have certainly tried to help her past that. We remain willing and ready to continue the program [redacted] purchased as stated in the signed agreement. The program, like any other educational endeavor, relies on the student's participation and application of the material taught to produce desired results. The fact that we are in our 15th year of coaching, mentoring and providing educational platforms, attests to our commitment to our clients success in this industry.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I do not agree with Live out Louds resolution. Again, I reiterate, I thought I was sold just one 100K Challenge program, which consisted of consulting to get my hypnotherapy business off the ground. I only found out later that I had actually purchased two programs. When I called for a refund on the second, I was told that the second was for my husband, and they would not refund the money. Trying to act in good faith and salvage the money, I spoke to Valerie. I asked if the program could help my daughter in publishing her book. She had already self-published it, but I thought it might be a shot. Valerie told me they could. Then my daughter was forgotten, until I asked again, which I have copies of those emails. I have kept copies of all correspondence I have had with Live out Loud. My husband still receives the emails regarding the 100k Challenge, my daughter has only received emails from [redacted] It was painfully obvious to me, once beginning the program that the program was not going to help my daughter even remotely. It was not structured for finding a publisher. The following is my address to each point made by Live out Loud in numerical order:1) I did not express financial problems. There was never a question as to my cash machine, since I had already began putting together a business plan for a Hypnotherapy Clinic before I ever spoke to Live out Loud. [redacted] did speak to [redacted]once, and he tried to steer her in the direction of selling t-shirt and key-chains, instead of working to getting her book published.2) I did not, nor would I ever, spend money without conferring with my husband. We wouldn't have been married for 22 years if I had. I was disappointed. It became painfully obvious that the real estate program was just a class and not a mentorship as had been sold to me. They can try and send me any additional information they want, the bottom line is that the program is NOT how the salesmen had sold it. It is not what I had consented to pay for.3) I am not, nor was I ever, asking for a guarantee of making money. My complaint is that I am not getting what I paid for, consulting and mentoring.4) I did attend the classes, and when there was a scheduling conflict, I listened to the recording. Not that it matters, I had paid for a mentor, not classes.5) My complaint was that I was still waiting for the course to cover remote wholesaling, which it did not. I was surprised that the class was moving forward before the information I needed was even addressed.6) I never even considered doing wholesaling in [redacted]. Matter of fact, had the salesman been honest with what their Real Estate Program was, I wouldn't have signed. He never came right out and said what it was, he acted like it was some big secret. He said that I didn't need any sales experience to make it work. Had I known it was preying on those that were going through difficult times, I would have never agreed. It is heart wrenching, and disgusting.[redacted]is right, I have complained a lot. Which I hate to do, but I am not getting the information nor the support that I paid for. I have a right to complain, and to be angry. And [redacted]should know. I think he is the only one that works there that is not on a sales team. He helps with the 100k challenge, he does the real estate program, cash machine seminars, big table seminars, and apparently complaints too. Maybe some of the problem lies with staffing, there is not enough people there to actually mentor or consult with. I stand behind my original statement and request for refund.Final Business Response In responding to [redacted] most recent response, I would like to first address the fact that [redacted] is alleging things in which she is using some very potent terminology. Fraud and misrepresentation are things that a person cannot just "toss out there"--these are things that actually need to be proved in court. That requires evidence. In order to set the record straight, I'm going to attach the list of deliverables associated with [redacted] multiple program components. Live Out Loud provided [redacted] with a clear, comprehensive, and complete list of deliverables in the agreement forms that she signed in enrolling in her programs, and the agreement forms also indicate that this is the ONLY list of products and services included with her program. And then, I'd challenge [redacted] to make any claims about her program and what was promised to her, compared against the actual program declarations.I've reviewed the original order, in which [redacted] claims that she is entitled to a refund because of being double charged. The order actually shows that [redacted] purchased a partner version of a program that is bundled. This is like buying a [redacted], or getting a bundle on your telephone, internet, and cable TV services, where you receive a reduced price buy purchasing things together. Based on our published prices at the time that [redacted] purchased, she enrolled in 4 different programs, the $100k Challenge program, the Internet Marketing 101 program, the 3 Days to Cash program, and the Millionaire Maker Academy program, and she was given the partnership version of the program at a price that was less than what we would have charged for the individual programs if the program had been purchased separately. The bundle not only saved her money on all the components, but it saved her over $9200 vs. the partner version of these components if purchased separately. I will also be attaching the deliverables for the Real Estate program. And once again, [redacted] received about $2k discount in bundling the two modules of the program together. But more importantly, the attachment documents will indicate what was promised, and the basis upon which program delivery is to be evaluated. A big point in [redacted]'s argument is that she says that she did not receive "consulting or mentoring." Live Out Loud programs have been defined as education and coaching. The term mentoring is sometimes used due to its close association with coaching, but we never use the term "consulting" in association with Live Out Loud programs. For the record, the Merriam Webster definition of mentoring is: "someone who teaches or gives help and advice to a less experienced and often younger person." The service that we have provided to [redacted] fits perfectly with that definition--and we have provided education and coaching as well.I have another question that I think helps to crystallize the situation. If [redacted]'s experience with Live Out Loud services was so unproductive, why did she utilize so much of my time in coaching, training, and mentoring her? She has "consumed" much of her program in coaching and training sessions and personally scheduled time, and also requested a refund. Unfortunately, that is much like ordering a meal, consuming all but a few bites, and then attempting to return it and say you did not like it. I've spent time talking with [redacted] and her daughter as a part of her $100k Challenge, she has also used several of the coaching sessions that came with that program. I have spent time analyzing property deals with [redacted] on several occasions, plus discussing ways to find properties, evaluate properties, work with real estate professionals, build money relationships, etc. This time spent with her is in addition to a robust series of training sessions that are recorded, and which [redacted] has admitted also in her communication here to having consumed, some live, and some by reviewing recordings that we have made available on demand. [redacted] still has access to thousands of dollars worth of proprietary information that has been used successfully by other people to make millions of dollars. I do want to say this--we set a precedent of openness at the beginning of the relationship where [redacted] could contact us at any time for assistance, or to schedule appointments to talk about her program. If there have been any missed emails or requests along the way, it is not because we are unwilling to assist, but in our programs we deal with a lot of other people as well. We expect that our clients will make more than one attempt to reach us if they have a need, as we may be assisting other people. We are still very willing to provide service to [redacted], the same service that has been effective for thousands of people we have worked with in Live Out Loud. [redacted] is a very intelligent person, the steps to success are straightforward, and simply require repetition in order to produce positive results. Live Out Loud cannot provide a refund on a program where a person has consumed a great deal of the program, but we would undoubtedly be able to arrange for additional coaching for her at no additional cost--we remain committed to [redacted] and her family's success.

I am so sorry I invested in the Live Out Loud, [redacted] Big Table coaching program. [redacted] and her team promised me that the "[redacted] Big Table" would be filled with movers and shakers, and the elite business owners from her organization. (an extremely important reason I agreed to do business with her) When I arrived, I found a room filled with brand new business owners, and some didn't even know what they wanted to do. Most had little to no business skills. Her team also made promises that they would help to get my daughter's products into boutiques, onto college campuses, and into retail outlets. No one in her organization has this expertise. I have made 2 trips with my daughter, at great expense, and find myself constantly pitched on business "wealth building strategies" (they happen to be jv partners with[redacted], so she profits is they sell anything) that have nothing to do with your business. I was promised that she herself would connect me with C-Suite business women from around the globe. She even gave me her personal phone number, and told me that I can call her whenever I had any questions, which she's never answered, ever. After numerous complaints, I have correspondence with her team that agrees that we didn't receive what we paid for, and even quoted the Stones by saying " "You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometime, you just might find, you get what you need." I was even able to record a phone conversation with him, where he admits that they didn't provide what was promised. Tape file available on request.I didn't get what I wanted and I didn't get what was promised.Product_Or_Service: Business coachingDesired SettlementCredit for my investment of $16,500.00Business Response As of July 2014, [redacted] received a full refund as was released from the program. With respect to her concerns, our first conversations with [redacted] were at a point where she indicated she was trying to make a decision whether to withdraw from the program. She based this, in conversation, on her first 2 sessions, and that the sessions did not provide enough to help in moving their cash machine funnels forward. She would have liked more on planning. We discussed the dynamic nature of planning, and that it is initiated in the sessions, and expected to be an ongoing process with a one-on-one coach, and other support elements, and she indicated that she had not gone over this with her coach. I believe, though, that her biggest complaint was in regard to contacts that she says were promised at enrollment, to help her and her daughter [redacted] in growing their businesses. [redacted] response to this was that [redacted] was given [redacted] cell number and had the ability to call and ask for those contacts, and that[redacted] was willing to provide them, but that she would provide them conditionally on [redacted]'s willingness to respond to the suggestions and coaching provided at LBT. We communicated back to [redacted] that[redacted] was still willing to provide the contacts, and reminded her that she was given [redacted] contact information. We also did provide [redacted] with some contacts of women who are leaders of women's groups, retreats, etc. I also asked multiple times about scheduling follow-up with [redacted] to help her with her business, and could not get anything set up through [redacted], or through [redacted]. Regarding the clients involved at Big Table, there is a broad spectrum of backgrounds and expertise. Some are beginning entrepreneurs, ex-corporate employees, young adults (just like her daughter), and some are the highest level entrepreneurs looking to network and learn of alternative investment strategies. The instructors are colleagues of[redacted] that provide cutting edge, progressive education, specialized coaching, and in some cases business opportunities to further the wealth building of our clients. We describe this as a refined toolbox that the clients have access to as necessary. All instructors serve our clients with an educational presentation, an option for a free consultation, and an option to dive deeper into said instructors' services if appropriate. The topics include, but are not limited to marketing, database efficiency, sales scripts, JV strategies, investment evaluation, alternative investing, Entity strategy, building team, and more. There is no obligation for any additional purchases within the program to be successful. Further, like any other similar events in the industry, speakers and instructors are allowed to offer their services in exchange for some marketing fee to Live Out Loud for organizing said event. The instructors and topics have been fine tuned over 13 years of this program to provide critical information and education consistent with building and growing a business at any level, legally protecting a business and intellectual property, maximizing tax advantages, creating multiple streams of income, and creating a support team. These elements, over the years, have provided a foundation and platform to grow and expand our clients businesses and wealth building efforts from every financial and experiential demographic. In this case, it seems we were not a good fit for Vicki and her unique goals. We wish her and her daughter well in all future endeavors.Live Out Loud Team

Let me start by saying that Live Out Loud is THE REAL DEAL! In thirty years of self employment, I have spent thousands of dollars on specialized, generic, motivational, self improvement, etc. classes and courses - some very good...and some not so good. In all of that time, NOTHING I have experienced has been as inspirational and life changing as LOL. I am a client...a student...a 3 Days to Cash Graduate...and a Loral's Big Table Graduate. But most importantly, I am a member of the Live Out Loud Community...with true friends, business associates and resources throughout the country and in various other countries as well. LOL provides tons of resources; top notch instructors; and endless opportunities. But in the end, you still have to read, study, participate and be willing to change. Live Out Loud can't force you to drink...but they sure know how to lead you to the water. ","pos-1

Request refund of $1000 deposit for Lorel's Big Table eventI put a $1,000 deposit down for a seat at Lorel's big table event date to be determined at a later time during one of her conferences in [redacted]. Since then my husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 Appendix Cancer. My whole focus is on his health and I will not be able to attend the event. I have tried to get a refund and no one will respond to me. Desired SettlementSince I have a sensitive situation with a family member, I would like a refund of my deposit of $1,000.Business Response Let me begin by indicating that we are very sorry to hear about health challenges in [redacted] family. We have found over the years that such challenges create financial needs, and that usually these needs are ongoing needs. Live Out Loud is a unique company that truly assists people to learn "how to fish, rather than providing a fish." In this way they are able to resolve financial challenges permanently rather than temporarily. [redacted] enrolled in a Live Out Loud education, training, coaching, and seminar program called Loral's Big Table on 3/23, 2013. She made a deposit toward this program of $1000, and received the educational access to 6 multi media programs that deliver the proprietary information of the program on 3/25/2013. Per the Nevada Attorney General's office, this constitutes delivery of the program. The additional services were placed on hold pending the completion of her payment on the program. She has had access to this educational content throughout the program, and was welcomed into the program by phone call on 3/25, 2013. From that date until the present, [redacted] has had access to all of this education and our live group coaching calls held multiple times per week. All of these provide proprietary content and procedures that are exclusive to Live Out Loud. And education is not something you can simply send back like a dress that doesn't fit--once you learn something, you cannot unlearn it.Several attempts have been made by our office to reach [redacted] through the intervening years, and to offer her access to other Live Out Loud programs that could be completed with the deposit that she has made, and would require no additional payment from [redacted]. In [redacted] file, I see phone attempts were made on the following dates regarding her program, and also to invite an opportunity, if needed, to shift to a different program that we could provide additional services without further payment from her. The dates that I see listed for phone call attempts are 6/14/13, 10/10/13, 8/7/14, 8/8/14, 11/26/14, 4/28/15, and 5/4/15. That does not include other dates when emails were sent. There are reports of leaving messages on several of those dates. In other words, Live Out Loud has been conscientious in maintaining contact over more than three years of time.[redacted] reports having made a request for a refund in May 2016. Since requests of this nature are directed through me to the Live Out Loud Resolutions Committee, I have checked to see if there were any forwarded emails or other requests recorded in her account file, and cannot see any indications of requests being made. Had I been made aware, it would have reinvigorated the conversation of how Live Out Loud could finish the provision of services to [redacted]. Even though it is now 3 years and 5 months after her enrollment, Live Out Loud remains perfectly open to provide assistance to [redacted], although her contract for services expired 18 months after her enrollment. To summarize, Live Out Loud has provided, and continues to provide service on [redacted] original agreement, as we have done for almost 3 1/2 years, and would be happy to assist [redacted] through our programs to be able to better provide for her family financially through developing ways to produce more revenue. Utilizing Live Out Loud services is the best way to develop long term financial stability through development of a business or assets. That seems like a very positive and forward thinking resolution.

I was charged $11997 with a money back guarantee if I was dissatisfied. By Live out Loud for training for becoming a successful enteprenuer. I never received training from this company only ignored phone calls. I wasn't able to download information without paying more money. They had several people from their company try to have me take out a loan with them ontop of the training and other moneys not included in training.I never received coaching as no one would call me back. I contacted main office to get a refund and they said they would get back to me no one from the main office ever called. I did receive a call from one of the coaches that was to work with me I told him that I wanted my money back and I never received anything back from him. I went on company website to download information for my credit card company to dispute it and the information was deleted from my account. I called several time to get this handled with no luck in getting a refund for the large amount of money that was taken from me, Please helpProduct_Or_Service: Training and coachingDesired SettlementI would like to have my credit card refunded for the $11997. I was charged for services I never got.Business Response In order to respond to [redacted] statement, it is necessary to provide a short explanation of the nature of the program in which [redacted] enrolled.1) Live Out Loud (LOL) is a provider of education, training, and coaching programs to assist people to create and develop businesses, assets and investments. Live Out Loud has provided these services for thousands of people for their financial success since 2002. 2) The programs in which [redacted] enrolled are educational programs with supporting coaching services to assist with implementation of the education. The proprietary educational content is supplied immediately so that the client can begin utilizing this training and education. Live Out Loud has also worked with the Nevada Attorney General's office to confirm that providing this educational content access constitutes "Delivery of Program." So the educational content is placed in the hand of the client up front, and then the coaching is provided as they begin to implement their program. 3) Because clients wish to move at their own individual speed, LOL provides clients with a welcome/orientation email and a welcome/orientation call. In both media, we provide instructions on how to begin utilizing their program, and make certain that they have access to all the educational content, know how and where to fill out the client profile that will assign their one on one coach, and provide them with specific assignments for 3 to 4 engagement steps to utilize their program, and impress on them that it is their responsibility to take these actions. [redacted] enrolled in a bundled package of components that includes the $100k Challenge program, a very directed program for increasing revenue through a personally owned business, including step by step tasks for successfully increasing revenue by $100k within one year, and backed by a performance guarantee; she also enrolled in the 3 Days to Cash workshop, an on site seminar that teaches business skills and sales; also a Make New Money online program for business skills development; also the Millionaire Maker Academy, an independent study to guide a person in building wealth development skills; plus Fast Cash Coaching, that provides 4 live group coaching sessions every week, including holidays; and the Millionaire Maker Success Kit, a collection of 6 independent study programs on business development, debt management, mindset, sales, asset management, etc.[redacted] enrolled in this composite program on 11/07/2015, that was end of day on Saturday. On Monday morning she was connected to all the the educational content for her program--i.e., the program was delivered per the Nevada A.G.'s office specifications. She received the welcome/orientation email on Monday. An appointment was scheduled and conducted with [redacted] on Tuesday, and it was confirmed that she had received the content, access and welcome email on Monday. She was continuing to ask for information and content regarding her program on Friday 11/13/2015, through a voice message. And an additional call took place that week for additional clarification on the program.[redacted] claims that she made multiple contacts with our office. She was contacted by our funding team that provides arrangements for business lines of credit to grow your business--one of the most valuable assets in business growth is leverage, as any successful business will attest. This seems to have angered [redacted], although the offer is optional and actually requires a person to qualify to participate. It appears that this precipitated a request for a refund, the request was made outside the rescission period for signed contracts, and [redacted] rescission rights had been included and clarified with the signing of her agreement.Due to the fact that [redacted] program had been delivered and she was outside her rescission period, it was explained to [redacted] that a refund could not be offered, but that her program remains in full effect, and LOL remains committed to the continued delivery of services associated with her program. And as we had indicated, we would need a client profile from her to match her with a specific one on one coach. [redacted] has not submitted this profile. Live Out Loud considered the matter of a refund closed at that point. Several months later, [redacted] contacted Live Out Loud again, even though we had previously informed her that a refund would not be provided. This time her story was completely different. Instead of saying that she wanted to cancel because she did not like the fact that we had offered her business funding, she began claiming that her request was for personal financial reasons, regarding family status, an illness, etc. It was indicated to [redacted] that if she has additional information, we could forward that information to the Live Out Loud Resolutions Committee, as a request for an exception to company policy. The information was reviewed, the decision not to provide a refund was reaffirmed, and [redacted] was notified, at which time it was also indicated that LOL still remains committed to assisting her through the provision of our education, coaching, and training services. The old saying about teaching a man to fish instead of providing him a fish applies here, Live Out Loud is committed to assisting people with life-long changes through learning new skills, developing business, and learning how to properly invest and acquire assets. It should be noted that after this second review, [redacted] notified Live Out Loud that she would be embarking on a campaign to damage Live Out Loud for failing to provide her with what she has asked for. The methods that she mentioned as her steps are in direct violation to the methods of resolution that are outlined in her signed agreement. Live Out Loud would much prefer to work with [redacted] to assist her with business growth than to have to take action against a kind of "vendetta" type campaign that [redacted] has initiated. We recognize that people experience difficulties in their lives, but future growth and success are dependent upon learning new ways to operate our lives, not from backing away from a program that can assist with that. When a person enrolls in a LOL program, we explain to them that they have chosen a great path, but that the path will involve effort on their part, and that seeking guidance from those with more experience in business growth is the clearest path to making changes--and that we hold people accountable to their own decisions to make changes, even when sometimes they want to backpedal on those decisions and signed agreements. That is the nature of coaching, whether it is for an athlete, or for a business leader or entrepreneur. Quitting is not a path to success.Live Out Loud is happy to work with [redacted] with respect to her program and its various components, and would also be open to reexamine her enrollment to see if there would be other program components that would be more amenable to her.Note: We are attaching the Program Declaration Pages for the primary components of [redacted] program in order to identify the scope of the program and its delivery.

To say that my experience with Live Out Loud, Inc. has been positive would be well short of the mark. My experience has been life changing. Live Out Loud has shown me that my passions can be harnessed, and that there is a community of people willing to help me achieve and hold on to the success I desire. This is done through education, through practice, and through support. Speakers, lecturers and coaches share their real-world experiences, and focus on making the material applicable to YOU. Putting those ideas into practice is easy when you have the type of resources and support provided by the coaches and lecturers themselves, as well as the team at Live Out Loud. ","pos-3

I signed up for [redacted]'s Big Table Experience which involves three trips to [redacted], coaching calls, mastermind groups and other means of brainstorming/connecting. The program is spread out over the course of a year. For my trips out west, I did not receive any emails/information with itineraries or addresses prior to or upon my arrival in NV. I had to try contacting LOL alumni at home for information about the program. I tried calling LOL the night before the program (as no prior information was given). I called the company regarding the upcoming dates of the Big Table session only to be told that the dates were changed, with no email letting it's members know! I live on the east coast and attended the first two Big Tables, incurring the travel expenses of the first 2 big tables on my own. The second weekend involved reviewing the same information from the first weekend. I spent a lot of money on a program I believed would deliver the tools and abilities to continue to grow my business. I will not travel out west (involving closing my business, airfare, hotel, rental car, meals) as the cost versus value is not proportionate. I have tried contacting the company directly for a prorated refund, as the year has not been completed. The company instead asked if I would accept more coaching calls to make up the difference. There are no coaching calls that can equal to the cost of the "experience" and tools one is supposed to receive from this company by being out at the Big Table. [redacted] only shows up for about 30 minutes each weekend (while you pay a significant amount of money to be out there attending her event). I was notified by their staff that changes will be made at LOL going forward (based on both my and other attendees complaints) however, that does not make up for my time and money wasted on two unsuccessful trips out west already. I am dissatisfied with the Live Out Loud company and DO NOT recommend it's services to anyone considering attending.Product_Or_Service: The Big Table Experience through [redacted]Desired Settlement$6,000.00 -- a prorated refund for the program. Not knowing your plans and intents, I offer a couple of suggestions:In my experience with natural health, and as a coach and marketing consultant, I have worked with dozens of chiropractors in growing and expanding their businesses. I am more than happy to discuss where you are at this point and to find ways that we can directly assist with your expansion. I am sure that the information above is not what you were hoping to receive. My role is to help each person in LBT to experience success, no matter what water has passed under the bridge, and I would be happy to schedule an opportunity to discuss how we can proceed forward for your success. [redacted], Live Out LoudConsumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I first do not accept the response because it clearly states "Please do not include any personally identifiable information in your response". Both my name and profession are listed in the response, thus leaving me fully identifiable to the public. I was told multiple times by the staff at LOL that they are working on changing all of the issues and complaints I had expressed with the company. I was also told that LOL will be making changes going forward. That is great for those who will attend the program in the future, however it does not cover or change my poor experience in having the delivered expectations met from the first half of the program! This is why I am requesting a pro-rated refund for the portion of the seminars/programs that were unused. I did not find it valuable to participate in LOL's services. As such, I am requesting to leave the remainder of the program (as discussed directly with LOL company both in person at the time of event as well as via phone & email upon my return home after) for a pro-rated refund. In good business, this is usual if the customer is dissatisfied as the promised needs and wants were not met. LOL is not the right program for me, based on all of my experiences and interactions with it thus far. I signed up for a one year program, which provided certain guarantees. After attending the first parts and participating, I have found that it is not providing the value as stated the company would offer. I am not sure as to why LOL has a problem with providing a pro-rated refund for the parts of the Big Table program un-attended? It is good business to part ways when the customer finds it is not the right fit. I am not requesting that LOL provide a total refund. My request is reasonable and fair. It is good business practices to work with the customer/client is resolving the issue.Business Response Live Out Loud plans and schedules resources, instructors, and staffing based on registered clients. The in person sessions and the instructors involved are scheduled sometimes a year out to accommodate their schedules away from their own businesses. The resources and business coaches utilized also are planned out well in advance based on participation and registered clients. Our commitment to our clients is planned and scheduled well in advance to ensure there is the proper level of live coaches and and other resources available to them. After the 3 day right of rescission to withdraw from the program, we apply all tuition toward the program purchased. This is the reason a refund is not an option at this point. To prove our commitment to our clients, however, we do provide the flexibility to transfer the prorated program tuition toward one-on-one coaching to a high level coach to better suit their needs if more a specific and customized coaching experience is needed. We have offered this to [redacted] and hope she will allow us to fulfill our commitment to her as we have every desire to do. We further state in our signed agreement (at the time of purchase), that there is a performance guarantee:"We will teach you the specific techniques and processes necessary to create wealth, based on knowledge and application. If, within 12-months of completing your in-person training sessions and after completing all of the key commitments below you have not doubled your initial tuition, we will refund your tuition or continue to work with you at our expense until you reach your program objectives. This "Success Guarantee" is performance-based. You must document your financial goals and fully participate in the program over the next 12-months, using our methods with the instructors guidance during the mentoring program. If you do not complete the program or its requirements, including the following key commitments, you will not be eligible to receive a refund. With this guarantee, we require that you agree to the following key commitments:Attend all in-person [redacted] Big Table sessions, final completion call, and your individual coaching sessions Fill out and submit a Client Profile before your first in-person sessionComplete all assignments given by Live Out Loud and its staffRegular attendance in the Fast Cash Coaching live coaching broadcast or forumWeekly participation in the Fast Cash Coaching Accountability callsWeekly participation in your assigned Mastermind groupWeekly participation in [redacted] Big Tables Laser Coaching callInvest at least five hours per week, building, tracking, and monitoring your results in your business or portfolio."We are very committed to our clients and strive to meet their every need to provide education and contacts to grow their business. We have a long standing record of service to our clients and alumni and hope to fulfill our commitment to [redacted] at the earliest opportunity.

I signed a contract with the Live Out Loud company on April 23, 2014 for $7400. The services were for a year-long coaching program. It included eight (8) 30-minute individualized coaching sessions, weekly access to conference calls regarding business topics, and online materials (audio, video and text) related to running a business. I had my first individual coaching call on May 7, 2014 with a [redacted]. I was pressured to give my credit card numbers over the phone by a [redacted], and when I asked for more time before I paid for the services, I was told no. I was told that if I did not pay right away - over the phone - that I was somehow not the type of person they would work with. Aggressive manipulative tactics were employed to insinuate that I was somehow inferior, and that I would be resigned to a life of mediocrity, since someone who wanted time to think about it was obviously a subpar individual, and not right for the program. In addition, I was told that I would receive individualized attention in the form of 8 30-minute coaching sessions. I received one with [redacted], but it was not tailored towards my individual needs at all. Generic blueprint ideas were spurted out when I dont even have a business idea to start with. When I followed up with her for assistance, it was still extremely generalized and not adequate for someone in the very early stages of formulating a business. The coaching and materials failed to deliver the type of individualized attention that was promised over the phone. It assumed you already had a business running, which I did not. It threw me into situations that were much further along in the process than I was, and I was left to fend for myself. I contacted [redacted], who passed me off to [redacted]. I asked for my money back, citing dissatisfaction with what I was promised. He replied that he had no power to do that, and that I signed a contract. He again was condescending when I explained that I could not do the program the way it was since it was falsely advertised, and informed me that a committee would meet after I submitted an email with my complaints. He informed me I could not get any sort of timeline on it since the committee has no regularly scheduled meetings. When I submitted my formal request for a return of my money, I was informed that [redacted] had already spoken to the committee without my input and they declined my request. He told me that he told the committee the same thing that I had written in my formal request. I have no way of knowing what he told them, or if a committee even exists. He forwarded emails to me that he had sent in the 2 weeks in between our conversation that I never received, requesting my response. I was not informed I had a finite time period in which to respond. So from the beginning, Live Out Loud was manipulative, did not carry out what I was promised, and unreasonable in resolving the issue.Product_Or_Service: Coaching business servicesDesired SettlementI would like a refund of the money I gave to Live Out Loud for failure to deliver.Business Response Live Out Loud has made numerous attempts at calling and emailing [redacted] to fin a resolution regarding her 100K program. Regarding any kind of manipulative tactics, we stand firm in our perspective and language while speaking with any prospective client. We are resolute in being very candid about the description of our programs and what level of participation is required to succeed in them. At no point would we ever intentionally handle a client without total respect and reverence for reaching out to us in an attempt to improve their current financial or business circumstances. Most of the LOL personnel and resources are business owners and entrepreneurs that are well aware of the challenges and commitment needed to move forward and succeed. For that reason and many others,we are empathetic to the pursuit of entrepreneurial success and guide clients along a path to help them grow. With the coaching and resources that are required and secured in advance, the tuition for any of our programs are applied to said coaches and resources after the 3 day right of recission. In addition, we have many coaches to choose from as well with varied experience and coaching styles to properly match with a client's suitable acceptance. We look forward to completing the program and assisting Claire at the earliest opportunity.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)This business was unethical in its dealings. I requested time to consider buying the program, and I was manipulated into giving my credit card information over the phone, told that I was not the type of person who would succeed if I did not give my credit card information over the phone right then and there. Any reputable business gives a prospective client time to consider the program they are thinking of purchasing, particularly one that costs thousands of dollars. Also, I had not even begun the program within their 3 day recission period, so by that point there was no way to know if the business had provided what they promised in their dealings with me.The reality is the business did not provide anywhere near to what they promised. For a new entrepreneur, I was not given guidance on how to start a brand new business. I did not at that time have a business, nor did I have an idea. The Live Out Loud company did not provide me information and guidance to proceed in developing a viable business. Even in the one one-on-one coaching session I received, the session was not tailored to my situation whatsoever. I was given blanket statements and a generic blueprint that did not fit my situation at all. I requested guidance, and simply got more generic statements that left me floundering. So the business was manipulative - I of course expected them to deny this, but I felt much distress from the pressure sales tactics when I was simply inquiring about the program and not ready to buy. In addition, they were deceitful in their first email reaching out to me - telling me I had received a scholarship, when the program was really $7400. But they reeled me in with a false offer, and by that point, the high pressure sales tactics were on.In addition they did not deliver the tailored program they touted to me in the high pressure sales call. The program was generic and I was left having no idea how to proceed. When I attempted to get guidance, all I received was a stock answer that I needed to commit to the program. When I requested a refund, the company did NOT contact me - I had no record of the purported phone calls. And my case was supposedly brought before a committee without my input and of course my refund was rejected. I do not even believe there ever was a committee, as I have no reason to believe that. This company is dishonest and deceitful. I charged the $7800 on two credit cards because I didn't have enough credit on only one. My USAA credit card agreed with me that this was a false charge, and refunded me $3700. I am requesting the refund of the other half from Live Out Loud- $3700 - since I did not receive what I was promised.Sincerely,[redacted]Final Business Response [redacted] enrolled in two Live Out Loud programs on 4/23/2014. Our $100k Challenge program is an educational program for revenue growth that includes a clearly mapped series of steps to follow in order to increase business revenue, plus educational materials and programs to train on marketing, sales, etc., and live coaching sessions to help keep a person accountable and on track with the success steps. The Internet Marketing program is a series of independent study lessons on how to use the internet to grow a business, and comes with live weekly resource line calls to answer questions. A brief explanation of the nature of Live Out Loud programs is in order to effectively address [redacted] post. 1) Live Out Loud has been in operation since 2002, and has provided education, training and coaching programs to thousands of people who have experienced millions of dollars in growth and success as a result. The programs include educational content that is delivered immediately, and then supported by one on one and group coaching to assist in implementing the program. 2) Live Out Loud has worked closely with the Nevada Attorney General's office in identifying what constitutes delivery of the program. The educational content for [redacted] programs was delivered one day after enrollment, on 4/24/2014, and [redacted] went through an orientation and engagement call and conversation on 4/25/2014. The proprietary educational information that [redacted] received on 4/24/2014 constitutes delivery of the program.3) [redacted] $100k Challenge program does come with a refund guarantee based on the completion of the task list included in her program agreement. So the program has a very straightforward approach: "Complete the tasks and document them and you should increase your revenue by at least $100k or more, and if you do not, you are entitled to a full refund on the program cost." [redacted] has indicated that her coaching was "general," this actually indicates that the coach was directing [redacted] to follow the steps in business building that have been determined to be effective, and are reflected in the task list she was requested to complete.4) [redacted] has consumed 50% of her coaching program, and 50% of her enrollment cost has been remitted back to [redacted]. She has continued to receive access to group coaching, independent study, and the Internet Marketing 101 program now for an additional 2 years.Additionally, Live Out Loud has never closed the door to providing additional assistance to [redacted], if she would like to contact us. To summarize, [redacted] education was delivered at the outset of the program, so she has received all the proprietary information attached to the program. She has consumed 50% of her coaching with the program. In fact, she CONTINUED to use coaching for two months after she informed Live Out Loud that the coaching had no value. Isn't that a rather large contradiction? And finally, [redacted] had 50% of her enrollment remitted back to her. After all of this, [redacted] has taken it upon herself to make incorrect claims against Live Out Loud in public forums such as this one.Note: The Program Declaration Page for the $100k Challenge Program for [redacted] is attached to define the scope of [redacted] enrollment. Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I believe this business is threatening me. I am not fighting this anymore.I do not believe they will ever see my side of the issue, wherein the delivery of the program was VERY sub-par. I accept that they never will. What I do not accept is vague threats. Is this how they run their business? This speaks volumes to me. I believe in karma, and my only hope is that it comes back to roost. The only reason I got back even HALF of my money is because my one credit card company is on my side and cancelled the sale. I had to charge it on 2 cards to do this program. So "LOL" definitely did NOT refund half my money like they are trying to make it look. I guess "LOL" loves fleecing people who can't afford it. What a nasty way to run a business. Customer satisfaction is obviously nothing they care about. I can't believe my $3,700 is worth the bad reputation they engendered here. I am just one person, I have no idea why a business would go after me that way. They know I can't do anything. But if I can do anything, it's to stand up for what is right. That is what I am doing.

I have been involved in a year long training programme with Live Out Loud. The programme has been really great. I have learnt so much in the last year and as a result my business has developed and turnover increased. The team are hugely supportive and always on hand to guide and help out. Highly recommended!","pos-2

However she's already called to quit and we refunded her both of those charges. We don't know where she's coming up with the $1275.49. Please have the client scan her records to show this.We are happy to assist and clear this up to customer's satisfaction.Thank you-Live Out Loud Management Consumer Response I didn't get a chance to read or see where it said I was then signed on for classes and I would have to pay $149.00 a month I just thought I was receiving a free book and I only had to pay for shipping. All these charges came out of nowhere and I got another book in the mail and I was confused and it clicked by itself and I didn't get a chance to finish reading all the info so that's why I felt like I was getting scammed. There was no way I could click back and I unsubscribed from the emails and I'm still getting them. I would like to be off there email list and however you make sure they don't have my credit card number.Final Business Response Our records indicate charges in July and August of 2014. Following cancellation, we show a refund of $298 on September 23, 2014. We show no other charges to this client. If she purchased something else under a different name or possibly different email address, it may be listed under that different name or email address. We are happy to address/ correct as needed. Please provide documentation of any further charges beyond July 2014. We will also remove client's email address from our database as requested. Thank you,[redacted]Live Out Loud[redacted]@liveoutloud.com

I do not recognize a charge on my credit card for this. This was not ordered by me.Product_Or_Service: 3/25/2013Desired SettlementRefund for the amount chargedBusiness Response On 3/24/13, [redacted] ordered a free book online titled, [redacted]. The $3.95 charge on her credit card was for the shipping and handling of the free book ($14.95 value). When [redacted] ordered this free book online, she had to give her credit card information approving the $3.95 shipping and handling charge. We're surprised at this complaint since [redacted] never attempted to contact us asking what the charge was for. If she had, we would've gladly refunded the entire $3.95 upon the return of the book.At this point, her purchase is almost a year old, but the question still begs to be asked, why didn't she make an attempt to contact us before filing a complaint with the Revdex.com? But still to this date, we would refund the $3.95 provided [redacted] returns the book in re-saleable condition and because the purchase is almost a year old, she will need to provide us with her credit card information for the refund.
