specifically states that the 2016 version isn't compatible with xp." This is not true. I always check these things. But the Web site from which I ordered had nothing about compatibility. No words such as "operating system" or "WinXP" were there. Furthermore, when I selected "3 PCs, 1 yr", their site instantly switched that to "5 PCs, 1 yr." Luckily, I noticed that switch and set it back to "3 PCs, yr." But when I received a msg from Purch Marketplace Software (PMS) confirming the order, it said "1 PC, 1 yr." They use the word "PC" and "license" synonymously, causing some confusion.And they are wrong about BitDefender Antivirus 2016 NOT being compatible with WinXP. BitDefender Tech Support said it IS compatible, BUT you have to first register with them, then download FROM THEIR SITE, but choose the "Get compatible" link to get the WinXP version.
