LIVETECHNICIAN Reviews (1)

Review: It is my feeling that LIVETECHNICIAN has intentionally used the lack of technical knowledge of their customers to a disadvantage and sold them very expensive anti-hacking software that may not have been necessary. In February of 2013 I purchased a lifetime anti-hacking software for $292.89 after being alarmed by their sales representatives that it was necessary and very important I do so. They have a persuasive way of taking advantage of uneducated and vulnerable customers regarding anti-virus software. I purchased the product in response to someone accessing my gmail password. After changing my password on gmail I also set up extra security in which [redacted] was not able to set up my e-mail on my [redacted]. No one was able to understand how I had blocked the [redacted] from gmail. I had to help the livetechnician person after I realized that it was me that had put extra security on the account. I am gravely saddened that [redacted] sent me to LIVETECHNICIANS for additional technical service as they were to only get my gmail account working on my [redacted], not sell me their products. But because of their tactics I was made to feel vulnerable. The day after Thanksgiving of 2013 live technicians called me and said it was necessary I purchase an additional $144 firewall software for my gmail account because someone in Canada was hacking my e-mail and it had been reported. If I didn't fix it, then someone would be making charges against me for the fraudulent e-mails I wasn't sending. They made it sound as if they didn't want to bother during busy holiday, but that I believe is exactly why they called during a busy holiday so "nervous" people would give them money to fix their account. Livetechnicians called me for 2 weeks straight with not message left. If it truly was important and they were monitoring my account they should have left a message. roughly a week or so later they called me again and this time left a message saying someone in Mexico had hacked my gmail account.Desired Settlement: I would like Live Technician to refund my purchase of their lifetime anti-hacking software in which I paid $292.89. Most importantly I do want Revdex.com to be aware of this company and their practices. It is not an honest way to run a business. I do not trust this company and believe they are not truthful in their practice.Feel free to contact me further with additional questions. Please investigate and hope that you will be able to help others.
