Livin' EZ Docks

Do not hire this guy for anything! I attempted to hire him in October of 22 to install a lift and dock filler at my slip at Kentucky Dam Marina. I gave my ideas he made up the contract and required $10,000 for a down payment. Luckily I did pay with check but he has not returned a phone call or answered a text or email in over a month. No work has been done and I have issued a fraudulent charge with my bank on the check. Before you think about hiring this guy look at the companies BBB file. I can't believe the place is still in business. I have posted some other opinions in the photo below from social media page Lake Barkley boaters. I am not the only one he has ripped off this guy need to be in jail.

The [redacted]’s will be notified today that the  front walk has been removed from their property.

this man greg W[redacted] representing polylift boat lifts. took my 2800.00 and has not delivered a thing. he promised on his contract 1-2 weeks to complete the work. almost 3 months later im still waiting. this man refuses to awnser the phone from your number once he gets your money. dozens of calls go unawnsered. how he keeps a business is beyond me. scam artist thief.

Greg Williams at Livin EZ put in a dock for me about five years ago and was very competitively priced but more importantly, as far as lake docks go, he comes by on a regular basis and checks on any wear and tear and so forth. They have repaired some things free of charge that really are normal wear and tear. They have also made several improvements. My dock sits on the main channel on KY Lake and takes a lot of abuse from wind and waves, but has held up remarkably well. They are very timely in coming when I call also. I am very pleased.

Gregg Williams, dock builder of Livin' EZ Docks at Kentucky lake is a very courteous and professional individual. My Wife and I are very pleased with our dock that was installed last year and today his crew installed us a waverunner dock. Hats off to Gregg and his crew for another job well done.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted].  When the lake level increases, we have been promised that the old dock will be removed.  Once our old dock is removed from the area, we will be completely satisfied.  It took an additional 3 months to complete the work that the business was contractually obligated to completed by May 31st, 2015.  We appreciate that Neil (Business owner's brother) stepped up to the plate.  He facilitated the completion of the dock, boat lift, PWC lift and walkway.  He also answered calls and returned txt msgs.     Best regards,[redacted]

We had several floats split on our floating dock on the south end of KY lake, and contracted Livin EZ docks to replace them. They had placed signs in the area, so we naturally assumed they wanted to do business there. The owner called after looking at them, and said he recommended they all be replaced, so we agreed. Within two weeks of being installed one came loose and floated away from the dock. Our neighbor saw the float and pulled it up on his bank. We began trying to call the company the week before the July 4 holiday. He did answer the first two times we called and said he had someone in the area and it would be fixed that week. No one ever showed up, and he has not returned calls or texts since. In the mean time, the lake rose right after the holiday, and the float is gone. Now, after looking at the dock more closely, the other floats don't look like they are secured very well. I would like for them to come fix their work, reinstall a float where the one is missing, and properly secure the others so they will not break loose.

Matter has been resolved per complainants call to the Revdex.com.

Livin EZ Docks just installed a new dock for me. I bid my dock out to the local dock builders. Livin EZ Docks was very competitive and I thought that Gregg Williams had a better understanding of my situation, or maybe I was just more comfortable dealing with Gregg. My dock looks great and I am very proud to have done business with Livin EZ Docks. I have a neighbor that I referred and now Livin EZ Docks is going to build my neighbor a dock.

Firm states that the job was completed and the complainant owes $2500 for other work.

Back in October 2014 my sister and I contacted 3 dock companies including LIVIN 'EZ' Docks looking to have a new dock installed on our lakefront property.
One of the dock companies told me that the owner would call me back the next day. The owner to this day has still not called me back.
Livin EZ docks called me back the same day and met with my sister and me at our lake property the following day. Gregg Williams answered all our questions and gave us a price before he left the meeting.
Though we felt the price was competitive we still wanted a second quote. Mr Williams was very understanding.
When the third dock company contacted us shortly there after they wanted to sell us an aluminum dock (when we requested a quote for a steel dock) and just give us a price over the phone without meeting us or our property in person. Finally about two weeks later they called back with a price over the phone again for a steel dock the size I requested.
Livin 'EZ' docks price was approx 25% less than their quote.
Our dock was built and installed per written agreement. The day we met with Gregg Williams to inspect the dock and make final payment, we mentioned how on Memorial Day we were going to have a large family get together including our wheelchair bound grandfather. Gregg sent 2 men out the next day to install a wheelchair ramp AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. He refused to take our money!!
Our dock is just beautiful and our family cannot wait for the warm weather so we can use our new dock!
I have already referred Livin 'EZ' docks to a new neighbor in our lake community and he has contracted to have a new dock built and installed by Livin 'EZ' docks.
I am very pleased with the service, pricing and professionalism we were shown by Gregg Williams and his work crew.

I sent a cashier check for  $2,000 to him yesterday for delivery this morning by noon.

I first met Gregg and Livin EZ Docks about 5 years ago. I already had a dock and my lift wasn't working properly. The previous dock company that I had used to install my lift would not answer my phone call when I repeatedly called them. I called all day Friday, and the previous dock company wouldn't answer or return my calls. I called Livin EZ Docks on Saturday morning and my call was answered. Gregg sent two men out to my dock the same day I called and in about 2 hours had my lift fixed. I have since used Gregg to redeck my dock with composite and the work was excellent. The reason I am writing this review is we currently have about 10+ inches of snow and I called Gregg and asked him if my dock would be okay with it sitting low in the water with the weight of the snow/ice on the roof of my dock. Gregg told me he would check on my dock for me and for me not to worry about it. I drove by my dock yesterday and I noticed that Gregg had some of his men drag the snow off of the roof of my dock and my dock was floating perfectly. I called Gregg and asked him what I owed him and he said not one dime. Gregg said, "THANK YOU FOR YOUR BUSINESS." This is the type of person that I will continue to do business with and have referred to all of my friends who are equally impressed with the professionalism and service.

Gregg, at Livin EZ Docks, put in my private dock with a walkway, which was over 100 steps. Because I live out of state, I had to trust his word and workmanship. I was not disappointed. All work met or surpassed my expectations and within budget. I would not hesitate to recommend Livin EZ Docks to anyone looking to put in a dock.

Livin EZ Docks recently installed a dock and walkway for me. I priced several companies and Livin EZ Docks was the most competitive. After we agreed on a price for my dock project, I added a few upgrades to my dock and Gregg was very fair in my opinion on the pricing. I have had a great working relationship with Livin EZ Docks and have recommended them to several of my neighbors. Another plus with dealing with Gregg is that the phone is answered 24/7 if you have a problem or questions.

Livin EZ Docks installed a new dock on my lakefront property last May 2014. After a recent storm this spring 2015 Gregg Williams happened to be in my area making rounds to check on possible customer dock damage. My dock had few impacts from this recent storm and Gregg and his crew prompltly came out to fix these damages at no charge. This is how great Gregg is with customer service. Livin EZ Docks installed my dock several years ago,
Back in 2011, when the water reached record levels, Gregg W[redacted] personally brought me spud pole extensions and wouldn't allow me to pay for the extensions.
I had Gregg install a longer walkway on my dock and this went exactly as he said it would go. I referred Livin EZ Docks to my neighbor and he was satisfied with Gregg's work also. I will definitely use Gregg whenever I have a need for dock work.

Livin EZ Docks installed my dock back in 2012.
We had a storm come thru last week, and my dock was slightly damaged.
Gregg Williams called me on Thursday, and said he was out in the area and noticed my dock had been damaged.
Today, Saturday June 27,2015, Gregg Williams had his crew fix my dock.
Gregg's crew worked on my dock all day today.
I asked Gregg what I owed him for repairing the wind damage and Gregg said, not one dime, I appreciate you allowing us to install your dock.
Gregg told me that he would warranty his work and this is proof that Gregg Williams
will stand behind his warranty.
I am very happy with the pricing, craftsmanship, and warranty that I have received from Livin 'EZ' docks.

On 19 August 2015 Livin' EZ installed our new boat dock on Lake Barkley. They did so under somewhat difficult conditions (a several hour rain delay and somewhat low lake water level). We were very impressed with the professionalism and work ethic of Neil and the others on the installation crew.
Our experience with Gregg Williams was extraordinary. Throughout the whole process, he was excellent in promptly returning emails and texts. He was always on time when we had on-site meetings.
A neighbor had recommended Mr. Williams and his company. We are certainly happy with the product and service provided to us, and we highly recommend Livin' EZ if you are considering a new boat dock.
