Living Clean Cleaners

I hired [redacted] at Living clean cleaners to provide a deep clean of my home. [redacted] and an employee arrived at my home to clean. They rushed through my home and left many areas unclean. These areas included the toilets, shower, bath tubs, bathroom floors, ceiling fans, blinds just to name a few. I took some pictures and send them along with a correspondence to [redacted]. She profusely apologized and offered to come re-clean my home. I accepted. No further communication with her and she did not show up. I went on a web site and made a poor review. [redacted] the emailed me that she sent me a check and that I was[redacted].This complaint serves to warn others about her business practice. She said she sent me a check for 50.00 that I have not received.Business Response When I arrived at Mrs [redacted]'s home I did not feel her home required a deep clean, therefore myself and my employee spent two hours (4 man hours) providing a basic cleaning of her home. A deep clean for her home size ranges from $185--225, I charged her only $115 and told her we only did a basic clean and I had charged her as such. She was kind, pleasant and seemed please. You may see a list of basic cleaning services on my website, www.livingcleancleaners.com. Many of the items she's upset with are not performed at a basic cleaning. Later that afternoon, Mrs [redacted] contacted me about the fact her downstairs (which I cleaned and is the majoritysq footage of home) looked good but she was disappointed in the upstairs. I immediately offered to come and reservice her home or give her 50% off her next cleaning. She deferred a reservice, preferring to have it addressed at next cleaning. I acquiesced. She then began a barrage of messages a short time later about how upset she was, how dirty and dusty her home was, etc, etc. Having never encountered a client of this nature, snapping photos and basically belittling myself and my employee, I offered to reservice for free. She accepted. As the time drew nearer, and after discussing with others in the business, I became a little concerned by her over the top reaction and her zealousness and decided in lieu of a re clean I would issue the client a refund in the amount of $50 leaving me with a payment of $65. I had no means of contacting Ms [redacted] because at the advice of others, I immediately withdrew from the website she had found me through and issued her the refund two days prior to the reclean date with a note of apology, but I was uncomfortable returning to her home, was issuing the refund, and wished her well. The date of the reclean arrived, I assumed her refund would've reached her as she is only a short distance from my residence. Apparently, this was not the case as she began messaging me calling me names and threatening to ruin my business by posting on every available site negative reviews to bring down my ratings and ruin my business and would contact the attorney general and Revdex.com. In the 1000+ homes I've cleaned, this has been my first negative review and/or experience. When I responded explaining I had put a check in the mail and was uncomfortable cleaning her home, Mrs [redacted] continued to message me berating me and my employee even after I repeatedly asked her to stop. I eventually came to the point a after the 11th contact (including email and website) that I made it known I would have to seek police intervention if she continued harassing me. The next day, she contacted me again, calling me names and threatening me. At the advice of my attorney, I blocked her email address because she is clearly [redacted] as this is an abnormal response. I did tell her she was blocked. The next day she them texted my phone again making accusations and calling me names. I then advised her I was blocking her from my phone and would monitor my account for two weeks, if after said time check had not cleared I would stop payment and reissue and advised her further contact was not advisable. What she is doing is akin to [redacted], I've blocked her from accessing me directly so now she's pushed her vendetta through you. I believe $65 is a reasonable fee as I did perform a service and this only covers my expenses ($7 bid, gas/mileage, employee $40 and my time). I think we can agree we have all had services performed we weren't pleased with, the usual reaction is to say okay and move on with our lives. The amount of time/energyMrs [redacted] is putting into harassing me and trying to damage my business reputation is very disturbing and frightening. My hope is the check DIDN'T reach her as it has my address and I can reissue using bill pay. However, given her reaction to a simple situation, I'm not convinced she hasn't received it and is simply keeping the situation alive. More than sufficient time had passed for her to have received the check and I am not as she indicated to me too stupid to use the postal system. It's my belief you'll find more complaints by Mrs [redacted] for other service providers on your site. I would be hard pressed to believe this is an aberrant behavior on her part.
