October 9, RevDex.com Jefferson StNE Suite A Albuquerque, NM RE: Complaint # [redacted] My name is Nikolas B [redacted] and I am the Senior Financial Controller for Livingston Hearing Aid Center (LHAC)I am in receipt of your letter dated October 7, In response to the consumer complaint: “Hearing aids do not work right my husband even failed his hearing test at work with them on.” LHAC received this complaint via web on September 16, 2015, and at that time the patient’s medical chart was reviewed by LHAC’s Director of AudiologyShe contacted the patient and was able to schedule an appointment for him to be seen in the Silver City office on September 25, 2015, for reevaluation and reprogrammingThe patient was seen for a follow up appointment on October 2, 2015, and testing was performed to demonstrate benefit from the hearing aids The patient is scheduled to be seen on October 15, 2015, to ensure that the adjustments are still satisfactory and that he is receiving benefit from his hearing aids Please let me know if I can be of any further help Regards, Nikolas B [redacted] Senior Financial Controller Livingston Hearing Aid Center, Inc

location, I am pleased to report that a satisfactory resolution has been reachedLHAC is a second generation family company founded in August of 1953, with 60+ locations in Texas, New Mexico and ColoradoLHAC is my family business and has been in my control since the untimely and sudden death of my father on June 8, LHAC is a company that has been built on a set of core values that we protect and project. One of those core values is to "Hang a Lantern on Your Problems”This patient’s experience, although unacceptable, is an opportunity for the practice to get better….if we are willing to admit that there is a problem, take responsibility and work to improveI take responsibility for the experience that she had and appreciate her willingness to reach out as it will result in my team becoming a better team with an improved focus on patients’ positive experiencesThe truth is…most people just don’t say anythingMost people just don’t come back, but she took the time to share her experience with me and that will be very valuable for both Team LHAC-Albuquerque and myself to focus on improving where we fall shortThank you for the opportunity!

consumer complaint:“Livingston Audiology & Hearing Aid Center had ran an ad which aired on a local Albuquerquetelevision station, KOAT TV Channel 7, during the month of MayThe television ad offeredconsumers a three month trial period in which to decide if they would like to keep the hearing aids.”Although, LHAC does advertise on local television in the Albuquerque market, LHAC has not ever been acustomer of KOAT TV Channel This means that LHAC has never run a television commercial on KOATTV Channel LHAC also has never offered a month trial on any television commercial or any other typeof media such as newspaper or direct mailLHAC frequently advertises “10-day Test Drives” or “10-dayFree Trials”; however, LHAC has never advertised a trial longer than days.Given that LHAC does not advertise on KOAT TV Channel and does not advertise month trials, Ibelieve that it is possible that your consumer is confusing LHAC with another hearing aid companyThereare many hearing aid companies in the Albuquerque area (80+) and we understand how this mistakemight occur.Please let me know if I can be of any further help.
