This company took over my lease last year, after years of living there my rent was arbitrarily raised by $per month a total of $5,yearly increase, which was just the beginningWhen a small leak was found connected to a light fixture in my bathroom, and identified by the super, it was a full 8mo before the potentially life threatening issue was addressed After being forced out by the increases in rent, I kept an email connection with my supposed representative Austin R [redacted] regarding the handling of my security: On January [redacted] I vacated the apartment On Feruary [redacted] I provided my temporary forwarding address and requested updates on the transfer of my security On February ***, having heard nothing, I requested again that I be kept informed of my security (a simple, "Sure thing, we'll let you know when to expect that!" Would have sufficed) two minutes later an actual responseProbably due to my upset tone and the mishandled by of the past year On March [redacted] I again requested information on my depositNo response On March [redacted] I called and recieved the email of Stacey B [redacted] , again requesting a simple update and provide ding a permanent address to which they could send my security depositAgain, within minutes of my harshly worded email Austin finally respondedApparently if you are nice he ignores you for over a week but if you are a total [redacted] he manages to respond in momentsI feel sorry for his wife So, on March [redacted] I recieved emails from both Austin & Stacy confirming that the check had been sentPast tense, not that they would send it right then but that it had been sent On March [redacted] I emailed again, usually mail within Manhattan takes only a day or two so I asked both what Date and to which Address the check had been sentAustin responded that the next day when he was in the office he would check March **, no information or communication from Austin, I emailed again asking for the informationNo response March **, I emailed again, Austin's response "the address you provided" I responded that I had provided one NY address at the beginning of February and another CT address on March [redacted] and could he tell me which oneNo response March **, no response On March **, another email asking him to get back to me Today is March **, I called the office and left Austin a message with my phone number asking that he call me right away as days had passed and neither my CT address or my NY PO box had any checks An email was sent in response by a Tori G [redacted] reading: "MrsNelson I understand you moved out 2.**according to our records there remains an open balance on your account please advise.." as well as an email from Austin telling me to speak with Tori and resolve the problem myself (again, just the WORST customer service) I am writing this while sitting in the Livingston Managment lobby, I have taken hours off of work to sit here for an hour to wait for Tori to have her lunch so that she can cut me my security deposit right now - because obviously I am good and pissed and ready to have all of this finished, even when they make me wait an hour to do so, I just want it to be DONE! I am so glad to have these charlatans out of my life!

This company took over my lease last year, after 5 years of living there my rent was arbitrarily raised by $475 per month a total of $5,700 yearly increase, which was just the beginning. When a small leak was found connected to a light fixture in my bathroom, and identified by the super, it was a full 8mo before the potentially life threatening issue was addressed.
After being forced out by the increases in rent, I kept an email connection with my supposed representative Austin R[redacted] regarding the handling of my security:
On January ** I vacated the apartment.
On Feruary * I provided my temporary forwarding address and requested updates on the transfer of my security.
On February [redacted], having heard nothing, I requested again that I be kept informed of my security (a simple, "Sure thing, we'll let you know when to expect that!" Would have sufficed) two minutes later an actual response.. Probably due to my upset tone and the mishandled by of the past year.
On March [redacted] I again requested information on my deposit. No response.
On March [redacted] I called and recieved the email of Stacey B[redacted], again requesting a simple update and provide ding a permanent address to which they could send my security deposit. Again, within 10 minutes of my harshly worded email Austin finally responded. Apparently if you are nice he ignores you for over a week but if you are a total [redacted] he manages to respond in moments.. I feel sorry for his wife.
So, on March [redacted] I recieved emails from both Austin & Stacy confirming that the check had been sent. Past tense, not that they would send it right then but that it had been sent.
On March ** I emailed again, usually mail within Manhattan takes only a day or two so I asked both what Date and to which Address the check had been sent. Austin responded that the next day when he was in the office he would check.
March **, no information or communication from Austin, I emailed again asking for the information. No response.
March **, I emailed again, Austin's response "the address you provided"
I responded that I had provided one NY address at the beginning of February and another CT address on March [redacted] and could he tell me which one. No response.
March **, no response.
On March **, another email asking him to get back to me.
Today is March **, I called the office and left Austin a message with my phone number asking that he call me right away as 8 days had passed and neither my CT address or my NY PO box had any checks
An email was sent in response by a Tori G[redacted] reading: "Mrs. Nelson I understand you moved out 2.**.2016 according to our records there remains an open balance on your account please advise.." as well as an email from Austin telling me to speak with Tori and resolve the problem myself (again, just the WORST customer service)
I am writing this while sitting in the Livingston Managment lobby, I have taken 2 hours off of work to sit here for an hour to wait for Tori to have her lunch so that she can cut me my security deposit right now - because obviously I am good and pissed and ready to have all of this finished, even when they make me wait an hour to do so, I just want it to be DONE!
I am so glad to have these charlatans out of my life!

Terrible rental agency. Here's the list of what happened during a 1 year lease: 1. Property stolen because broken gate was fixed by looping an extension cord over the poles to hold it shut. 2. No stove for 3 months because of a gas leak that took 3 months to fix. No credit toward rent was given. 3. During move-out, my apartment, with stuff still inside, was left unlocked by the building super/leasing agent, and about $500 worth of electronics were stolen. All parties denied it was their fault. 4. It's now 3 months after I moved out, and I still don't have my security deposit. I had to contact them myself to even get the ball rolling. Nobody made a single effort to get my deposit back to me. 5. Heat out to the entire building for days at a time, in the middle of winter. That includes hot water. 6. Multiple power outages in the stairways, with no backup lights, causing an elderly woman to fall down the stairs and injure herself. 8. Building supers go through the trash and stockpile anything they want to keep in a shopping cart in the back yard area. Also, the back yard area is basically a pile of trash now.
