I brought my car to Maaco on 10/24/15 to have bodywork performed for a windshield replacement. I was told that it would take 3-4 business days and that they would call [redacted] to have the windshield installed for me. I was also assured that the work would be performed to completely fix the rust problem, and that it would be approved by [redacted]. I was not called but upon calling on Wednesday, I was told that they needed to place an epoxy on the metal, and it needed to dry. They assured me it would be acceptable by [redacted] and this was a special epoxy. They also assured me that they work with [redacted] all the time, and this is acceptable. Each day it was delayed further by needing further drying time and paint. it was finally ready on Saturday, and I picked up the car to take to [redacted] when they told me there was no way to place a windshield on a car with epoxy placed on the metal. I called a few other windshield repair shops who also stated that they could not work with any epoxy. I now had to continue to wait until the next week to take it back to Maaco who were able to fix the problem and get the windshield replaced. They have cost me much time and hassle, and I would not recommend this business to anyone.
