Review: The car was involved in the accident. The car has been in L&J Body and Fender Works since September 30, 2014. Today is October 31, 2014. Nothing has been done on the car. I stoped by the shop this morning and the car looks like it looked at the time I delivered it to the shop. I have been calling above shop every week to check on the status of repair. Every single time I been told differen day of complition. Friday I was will told it will be done on Monday. When I call Monday they tell me it will be done Wensday. When I call Wensday they tell me it will be done Friday. They been doing this to me for the past 4 weeks. As of today my car is still in the shop with no clear date of completion of work. When the insurance representative contacts them they give him the same run around. Very unprofessional people. He has a car long enough for the work to be done by know. When I asked the owner ([redacted] when is it going to be done ? He can not give me a straight answear. I depend on the car to go to work. I been straggling for the past 4 weeks.Desired Settlement: I want my car to be finished immediately.

Review: I HAVE A TOYOTA SIENNA THAT WAS REAR-ENDED IN AUGUST 2013. I JUST PICKED IT UP FROM REPAIR SHOP LAST NIGHT AND THERE ARE MULTIPLE PROBLEMS, INCLUDING:

FRAUDULENT CHARGES FOR REPAIRS THAT WERE NOT DONE/PARTS NOT REPLACED

POOR QUALITY WORKMANSHIP

DOORS ARE ALL OUT OF ALIGNMENT, SPACES IN BETWEEN/GAPS EVERYWHERE (CAN ACTUALLY SEE THE INSIDE OF THE CAR), HUGE CRACKS UNDERNEATH THAT WERE "GLUED" TOGETHER, ETCDesired Settlement: EITHER THEY REPAIR UNDER STRICT SUPERVISION TO TOYOTA STANDARDS, OR THEY PAY TO HAVE SOMEONE ELSE DO IT. I AM BEING TOLD BY THEIR SHOP THAT I AM "TOO PICKY"

I believe we worked through any issues Ms. Klauber had with repairs to her vehicle. Her insurance company paid for additional repairs that she had addressed with us. A final inspection was made by her insurance company and the owner and I believe all issues were finalized. Sincerely Frank Neri

Review: On July 1, 2014 my husband was rear ended while riding his motorcycle. The vehicle was towed under the authority of the Roselle Police Department. The vehicle was held for the purpose of investigation and finally released on July 16, 2014. An attempt was made to retrieve the vehicle and on July 16, 2014 at 4:40 pm our representative was advised that the fees to release the vehicle would be $313.00. As we understood this fee to be incorrect we contacted the Roselle Police Department and they in turn contacted the company and explained that there should not be 15 days of storage charged because the vehicle was held for their investigation. To that end, we contacted the company at 8:00 am on July 17 and requested the following from a man who identified himself as [redacted] the Manger: 1. Hours of operation for pick up. 2. Fees associated with pick up. He advised that we would have to pay for the tow fee ( which we understood ) and two full days of storage. During my conversation with [redacted], I explained that we were at the facility on the same date of the release and were given the incorrect fee amount and subsequently are now being charged for 2 days of storage. He was firm that although the employee made an error in quoting a fee of $313 on the release date he was still inclined to bill us for 2 full days of storage even though we were there the day before. After asking for the information on the owner, he advised that it was " a corporation and he was the only person that I would be able to speak with and if we wanted the vehicle we would need to pay the fees".

This practice is at the very least an effort to extort consumers who by no fault of their own were subjected an error in the charges and when the error was corrected the business knowingly charges for an error they made.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the extra day of storage refunded.

We provide towing services for many police departments. The police department neglected to advise us that the vehicle was being held for any investigation. All charges were in accordance with the rates established by the Roselle Administrative code. Sincerely [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

The refused to release the motorcycle on the same day the release was given. When we called were were told, they were open but no one was there to release the car and we would have to come on the next day. The rates are what they are and that is fine. I was disappointed in the treatment hat we received and the fact that we had to pay for the extra day of storage.
