To Whom It May Concern:In response to Complaint # [redacted] , let me first start off with the fact that I have been a General Contractor with my own business for over years and I have never had a complaint from any of my customers or filed against me.With that said, I have consistently been harassed by this customer and would like to explain how this has all taken place since June 2016.When I initially saw the Gazebo, it was in dire need of repair My guess is it was over years old My Original proposal to the customer included a new roof (which is what was needed.)The customer refused that proposal as a new roof was too expensive for her The Revised proposal was for me to patch the roof and this was the proposal that she agreed to The work to patch the roof was then completed by the end of June 2016.One year later, in June 2017, the customer reached out to me This time, the roof was leaking Unfortunately, I was in the middle of major construction jobs and told her I would come by when I could to silicone the areas that I patched last year At this time, the customer was becoming increasingly inpatient and unhappy with me I was finally able to break free and called her on Thursday, August 17, and apologized for my delay but I would be able to come to her residence on Monday, August 21, by 7am.On Monday, August 21, 2017, I arrived at her residence with two of my workers and we did all the silicone caulking to the patches from June My regret is that I did not physically see her on this day because on the following day, the customer left me a voicemail (that I have saved) implying that I had not shown up on Monday to do the work and that she waiting all day for me I called her immediately but got her voicemail I explained to her that yes, I was there with of my workers We were there by 7:10amand were there for over hour and completed the job The customer then left me a disgruntled voicemail (again, that I saved) that the job was not up to her specifications.....I received the letter of complaint from Revdex.com dated August 22, and saw that the customer filed this complaint on August 17, This was filed on the day that I told her I was coming to her residence on August 21, This shows me that this customer will not be satisfied with anything other than a new roof A new roof that she is not willing to pay for and my reputation is on the line.Sincerely, [redacted] J***L.J.BConstruction

by this customer and would like to explain how this has all taken place since June 2016.When I initially saw the Gazebo, it was in dire need of repair.  My guess is it was over 20 years old.  My Original proposal to the customer included a new roof (which is what was needed.)The customer refused that proposal as a new roof was too expensive for her.  The Revised proposal was for me to patch the roof and this was the proposal that she agreed to.  The work to patch the roof was then completed by the end of June 2016.One year later, in June 2017, the customer reached out to me.  This time, the roof was leaking.  Unfortunately, I was in the middle of 2 major construction jobs and told her I would come by when I could to silicone the areas that I patched last year.  At this time, the customer was becoming increasingly inpatient and unhappy with me.  I was finally able to break free and called her on Thursday, August 17, 2017 and apologized for my delay but I would be able to come to her residence on Monday, August 21, 2017 by 7am.On Monday, August 21, 2017, I arrived at her residence with two of my workers and we did all the silicone caulking to the patches from June 2016.  My regret is that I did not physically see her on this day because on the following day, the customer left me a voicemail (that I have saved) implying that I had not shown up on Monday to do the work and that she waiting all day for me.  I called her immediately but got her voicemail.  I explained to her that yes, I was there with 2 of my workers.  We were there by 7:10am. and were there for over 1 hour and completed the job.  The customer then left me a disgruntled voicemail (again, that I saved) that the job was not up to her specifications.....I received the letter of complaint from Revdex.com dated August 22, 2017 and saw that the customer filed this complaint on August 17, 2017.  This was filed on the day that I told her I was coming to her residence on August 21, 2017.  This shows me that this customer will not be satisfied with anything other than a new roof.  A new roof that she is not willing to pay for and my reputation is on the line.Sincerely,[redacted] J.
