Review: Contractor was hired to repair roof leaks. Repairs not done properly, roof still leaks. Contractor does not respond to calls or emails.Desired Settlement: We'd like the job to be completed correctly or have our money refunded.

Review: In April of 2013, I received a quote from LKC Construction to install a bathroom in my home. After reviewing a few estimates, I awarded the job to LKC Construction. [redacted], ** provided me with the estimate and requested that I provide him with a deposit of 4712.50, which was taken (and confirmed with his initials) on 4.29.13. After several messages were left, he finally arrived at my house on 6.2.13 to begin work. He removed parts of my drywall in the proposed bathroom site and began to dig up holes in the concrete for the pump, shower, and toilet. He said the job would take two weeks and that another payment of 2000.00 would be required by the end of the following week. He showed up again on 6.10.13 to dig up more concrete and remove some debris. He took the next check for 2000.00 and stated his plumber would be the next step. After several messages left asking where the plumber was at, the plumber shows up on 6.24.13. The plumber removed more drywall, some insulation, and ran some preliminary pipes for the water. Those pipes have been left dangling and the holes in my floor are still filled with debris. I have no plumbing done in this space, no electric work has been completed, no materials have ever been delivered to my house (tiles, toilet, shower, sink, etc) and no further work has been done. LKC Construction has made NO attempt to contact me since 6.21.13. I had my attorney send two demand letters to the business with no response. It has been almost a year since the work started, and no money has been returned to me and no contact has been attempted to either myself, my mother, or my attorney. Based on other estimates I have obtained for my attorney from other contractors, it is clear that only 10-15% of the work has actually been done by LKC Construction.Desired Settlement: I would like for LKC Construction to return 6712.50 USD to me in full, for services not delivered.
