I don't think it is important if they negotiated first then next day payed for vehicle or they did all in the same dayThe main point is, they damaged the engine valve and now they want me to be responsible their careless act.First off all, at the time off sale, the car was in 100% working condition, no any issue with engine or any other partsUnfortunately nobody knows when used cars will break down, especially when they are years old Like I explained earlier, according to his mechanic, the water/coolant hose, which is year old, and been working under the heat and pressure, came off (popped out) from the base (possibly bad holding clamps), and stopped supplying water to the engine (check engine light and water/coolant light turn on immediately in this case)and water temperature gauge shows very high tempIf we continue to drive the vehicle in this condition, the engine gets overheated and valve gets damagedThe repair got so expensive, because either they didn't pay attention to the dash board light, such as check engine and water/coolant sign light, or they just ignored those alarming lights, and kept driving until it came to unrepeatable condition, then they called tow truck, but they already damaged the valve at that timeAny mechanic can proof , that it was their mistake, for not paying attention or ignoring warning dash light, otherwise it would only cost $repair. Of course I do feel bad for Ms*** ***Nobody wanted this to happenbut like I said, we never know when a used car will break downon top of this, I explained all this, and they agreed to purchase vehicle as is no warranty and signed the papers, which I already provided in my first responseMy conscious is clean, and I haven't done anything wrong All I can do is offer $for their repair as courtesy. My name is [redacted], I am the owner of LS Auto Sales. First of all, customer mentioned about my permits were out of date, which is not true, as all my permits always up to date and are posted on the wall, I am going to attach copies of my permits to you. Now about the vehicles. All the the...

vehicles we sell are AS IS, NO WORONTY. They are used cars, and nobody knows when they will break down. Sometimes customers drive few years and they are not having any issues, sometimes they might drive only few month or days and something might happen, I can not predict which vehicle will last long, and which one will not. Ms. [redacted] came to my dealership with her husband. First husband test drove the vehicle, then Ms. [redacted] test drove the vehicle with her husband (second round). They liked the car and we started price negotiation, to make it short they have purchased the vehicle $1,580.00 less than what it was originally advertised online. Then they came next day and paid for the vehicle, and took it to Firebaugh CA. There was no any issue with the car at all. Ms. [redacted] mentioned that car broke down the same day of purchase, it is not true. The car broke down couple days after purchase.] have personally talked to her husband over the phone, and this is exactly what he told me. " Per his mechanic the water (coolant) house, that goes to the engine, came off from its base, and because of that, there was no water supply to the engine, in order to cool it down". This will cause engine to overheat and damage the valve. Now, when water supply to the engine stops, then check engine light and water sign light comes on, and at this point if they were paying attention to those signs and stop driving, there would be any issue with engine valve. And the repair would have cost them only $250 instead of $2000. They towed the car to the shop after they damage the engine by driving without water. Ms. [redacted]'s husband told me that the part will cost $150, and I offered him that I will pay for the part, but 1 guess he was upset and hang up phone on me, there for 1 didn't have chance to pay $150 for the part.

So, just want to say that we accept the offer of $300.00 that will help us pay some of the bill. This is just a bad experience I just to learn from this so it won't happen again.
