Review: In approximately March , 2011 I noticed sinking in areas of my patio and separating of blocks in a large planter. In February, 2012 I contacted [redacted] about repairs needed to a patio and planter he had installed in 2004 using Tech-Bloc. He came and gave me a verbal estimate of about $400. The repair included the patio, planter and a drainage pipe under the walkway. He said he'd send the written estimate. I called again in April and he said he had another estimate to drop off on the area and would bring mine as well. I called again in October, left a message but he did not call back.I called again February 9, 2013 and spoke with him. I asked if he was still interested in the job and he said yes definitely and would bring the estimate to me. I called again May 9 and left the message that I was very disappointed that he was not responding. I said I felt he had lied to me and was not treating me in a manner that was acceptable. I really liked his original work but felt I had to express my disappointment to Washington Concrete who had recommended him and would file a report with the Revdex.com. As of this date I have not had a response. When I contacted Washington Concrete I was told he no longer worked for them and there was nothing they could do for me.At this time I am filing this complaint I hopes of a resolution to my repair.The exact dates in the form below are an estimate although the months are correct. The 2013 dates are accurate.

I would like the repairs he agreed to do to be made as we discussed. According to [redacted] at Washington Concrete no one else would come in and repair someone else's work.

I don't dispute anything Mrs. [redacted] has written, the reason for not giving a written estimate was that I didn't know if and when I could get to it. I'm working with a general contractor right now on twenty two homes which is keeping me very busy. If she still wants me to do the work I'll try to get it done by the end of the summer. I appologize for the inconvience.

When [redacted] did the original work we were very pleased and recommended him to others. For that reason we wanted him to make the repairs. Why wasn't the current explanation that he was busy given last year when we discussed the repairs and also this year when I asked him if he was still interested in the job? I believe he said the work would take about a day or so over a year ago, although the repair may be somewhat more involved because of the delay. .I don't think it's unreasonable to expect it to be done quickly after waiting over a year. If he can commit to doing the work and completing it before the end of 2013, I will consider this complaint closed. If not, I do not consider his response satisfactory.
