L&L Transmission and Motor Repair

Beware of this transmission repair shop. Tom is deceiving, dishonest and unethical trade practice. I'm sure he's been getting away with it for awhile. They will low ball you just to sucker you in and then they will try to get more money out of you after. Tom quoted me $1800 to rebuild my transmission parts & labor included. He also said he will replace the rear main bearing seals when the transmission is out. Also when I drop off the car he gave me a receipt with only my name on it and nothing filled out, I question him and he said "I'll fill it out later". After I got the car back I notice oil was leaking between the engine and transmission so I took it back to him and he try to charge me more money to repair the oil leak. I told him you're responsible for that leak and I'm not paying you anymore money. After talking to 4 other transmission shop they all say it's probably coming from the rear seal and that he should have replaced it when he took the transmission out. One shop even told me that he took apart transmission that was rebuild by them and found a lot of short cutting & customizing trying to make things fit. Currently I in a lawsuit with them and just wanted to warn everyone, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!
