Dear Customer,Thank you very much for sharing the customers’ feedback about our service. We highly value every feedback and suggestion to improve our service quality. And please accept our sincere apology if there is any inconvenience or disappointment you may get from our service. Regarding to your...

feedback, we are making following explanations and solutions with a thorough investigation. The in-depth tour is $25, which contains two program, a special visit to Old fort Niagara and Whirlpool state park. Since whirlpool state park is a State owned facility, it does not charge an admission to go inside, however, if you are going there with your own car, it is technically not totally free to you, considering the cost of gasoline, wear & tear of the vehicle, & insurance etc. and therefore, our company is putting a package together to charge $25 for both places so you can have a chance to see Niagara Falls in more details. We feel sorry that you dissatisfy with the package, according to our customer satisfaction protect policy, we would like to refund you the whirlpool state park difference, which is ($25-$12)*3pax=$39. We understand that you may not satisfy with the Old Fort Niagara($12/person), but as you have already visited, we cannot refund you this part. Also, we feel sorry that you are not satisfied with the tour guide's service, we would like to refund her service fee, $4/person*3pax*2days=$24, to show our sincere apology. We will retrain the tour guide to improve her professional skills and service quality.Hence, the total refund would be $39+$24=$63.Hope the above explanations and solutions satisfy you. If you are US residences, please offer us your official name and address, then we will directly send checks to you.If you have any questions, please feel free to E-mail us directly to [redacted].

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

This business has yet again, exposed and confirmed the deceptive conductive and nature of their operation through their response.Problem with response:Wear and tear/gasoline is already covered in the $112 as verbally stated by the tour guide. You cannot charge this again and disguise this fee as attraction entry fee titled ‘scenic tour’. ($25-11=$14). If you are charging this wear and tear fee for one attraction item, correspondingly for consistency you would need to charge it for each and every attraction item, which I have noted you did not. What makes this attraction item deserving of a so called ‘wear and tear’ fee when other items do not. Thus this fee was obviously a deceptive means for you to lure in more money.Your argument that I have already visited the Old Fort and hence you cannot refund is flawed. I have every right to request a refund as I visited under the false pretence that it was a ‘scenic Niagara tour’. Had you openly disclosed and been more transparent about what this attraction item was there was, I would not have spent $25 for ‘Old Fort’ where entry fee was only $12 and the component of this attraction was a ‘FEE FREE’ visit of the whirlpool.I am entitled to ($25per person x 3): scenic tour                        ($4per person x 3 x 2days): tour guide  This totals to $99.I will not proceed to do a quick calculation of the number of tourists who have openly deceived on my bus multiplied by the number of tours run by your company in a week, multiplied by the number of weeks in a year and again by the number of years your company has been in operation. That would be the actual figure you should be paying as a penalty, not my measly $99.This is a matter of principles that I am standing up for.

Review: I will provide a detailed outline of the complaint as an attachment, in briefing the attraction descriptions were misleading and the upfront prices of attraction entry fees were not disclosed.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $25x3: equates to a three party group for entry into the supposedly 'scenic Niagara tour'. Niagara falls are free to view and the Old fort was $11 which I didn't want to see anyway but was lumped together as one attraction. As well as $8x3: for the incomprehendable English of the tour guide.

This equates to a total refund of $100

Review: I'm not sure where to start with this complaint. My 2 friends and I (one who is a New York resident) went on a tour starting the [redacted] of July from New York to Niagara Falls - Boston. The tour included 2 nights’ accommodation in Niagara and Boston (later to be told the hotels were 40 minutes away from these locations). Everything we read about this tour ended up tainted, their idea of an in depth tour was our 'tour guide' giving us a 30 second spiel in very broken English and usually the facts were wrong! It was an absolute joke. One of the 'in depth tours' we were taken on we were charged $25 for, when entering the building we saw the adult price per person was $12 so I’m wondering where the rest of this money goes?

We have our bus driver on film drinking a beer and what sounds like ordering drugs. He also when we were stuck in traffic on the [redacted] bridge asked if we wanted to be let our so we can jump off and kill ourselves. We had children on board, he was NOT fit to drive on any occasion. He was all over the road, never using his blinkers and sitting on his phone talking to his friends for the duration of the trip.

We were promised an afternoon, evening and full day in Boston and after our bus broke down we only had a few hours in Boston in which we were driven through the city and we shown all the sites through a window as our 'tour guide' hurriedly read through what attraction we were seeing in English and Chinese.

This isn't even scratching the surface of what my friends and I went through. we were transferred to 3 different buses during this trip, we were never apologised to, a family were so scared at one point that they called the police on this company to come collect us after the bus who saved us from our previously broken down bus were told by their company to pull over because L and L tours weren't contacting them or paying them for their service. We were forced to pull over on the highway for 40 minutes because they would not pay them/call them back.

We are wanting a refund for this tour. The only good thing that came out of it was that we saw Niagara Falls – for a 20 minute boat ride.

This company needs to be stopped. I finally [redacted] the company (which we never would have known about until actually ON the tour) and the reviews are horrendous. Our holiday was completely ruined, SO much money wasted on horrible service station food which made most of us sick and terrifying driving conditions from a driver who was so clearly high.

Please let me know what we can do from here, they seem to have no desire to want to talk to us or resolve this in anyway.

Thank you for reading,

[redacted]Desired Settlement: Full refund for tour and an $50 food refund
