This is my response? This has been going on for 7 months. How much time does Mercy need and how much time do I need to spend repeatedly contacting you? Extremely poor customer appreciation. Due to Mercy incompetence I have been turned over to collections twice and am expecting to receive notification any day that it's happened again. CREDIT MY ACCOUNT for your errors.

[redacted] ambulance sent my wife to mercy hospital they said dispatch told them too. I told ambulance driver at my home where to take her and when they stopped at mercy. The dr at mercy said she had no business there he didn't have her medical reports. She just left [redacted] a few hours earlier...

from a surgery. She was terminal so mercy did nothing for her exept give her some oxogen and charged medicare about 6000.00 And left her laying there for about 5hrs said they didn't have any ambulances available to take her to [redacted].

I have spent many hours trying to get this resolved and no one is listening I have called it to Mercy's attention where they have errors and nothing gets done and the just keep threatening my with turning me over to collections.

I have already been to this step without correction after they had told me they corrected the errors, I need to see exactly what I owe now and what credits I owe and there is a bill from Mercy Hospital where I owe $[redacted] and I think this is a duplicate charge of a doctor of which I already paid the $[redacted] through [redacted] They have the charge listed professional charges I need a list of what those charge consist of. I also paid an ambulance bill of $[redacted] of which I have been trying to get a refund of that for 6 months and they keep telling me the check is going to be cut every week of which I never seen as of today then they where to bill Medicare for charges starting on 4-1-20016 of which I don't think they have ever done that yet. I just got a statement in the mail for around $[redacted]. so I know all of this they said they corrected has not been done. Thnk you.

When the estimate was completed for the CT scan the patient received it was in fact correct. However when given an estimate we do not include any type of medical supplies or pharmacy drugs that may be used or given. It is no known at that time...

what more the patient may require during their treatment. This is in fact what has happened during your treatment the difference you were charged was due to supplies and pharmacy drugs used during your visit. Thank you

This is getting extremely frustrating. Did you even read my statement! Like I stated before it was an out patient procedure prescribed by doctor. IT WAS KNOWN AND EXPLAINED TO ME WHAT THEY WERE GOING TO DO BEFORE I EVER SIGNED THE PAPER. there wasn't any testing that needed to be done, there as no blood drawn to determine what I needed, I did not go into the hospital asking them to check me out and figure out was wrong with my stomach. I simply went to my doctor, she wrote a script to the hospital wanting a cat scan with contrast done. I went to the front desk of the hospital, told me they were going have me drink 2 cups of fluid and put a I.V. in my arm to run the contrast through and it would take roughly 2 hours. I asked what it was going to cost to have it done and she said an estimate of $[redacted] and with my cost after insurance $[redacted]. So I agreed. I'm having a really hard time understanding how Mercy is not comprehending the fact THAT EVERYTHING WAS KNOWN AND EXPLAINDED HOW THE PROCEDURE WOULD WORK. There was NO "when you get back there we are going have to do testing". It was explained how simple of a procedure it would be and said that it would cost an estimate $[redacted] with EVERYTHING.

The only reason why I'm accepting the proposed resolution is because Mercy knocked my bill down from $[redacted] to $[redacted] through a financial aid program. Mercy's statement was "Mercy will be upholding the original response to this concern." and "You were made aware the amount was an estimate and was only pertaining to the cat scan itself." Which is not true because my estimate they gave me clearly says "Cat Scan ADB Pelvis w/Contrast $[redacted]" Not only that the staff explained it to me that estimate included everything. I'm glad its over and tired of dealing with it. Its really sad that I had to get the Revdex.com involved to get my voice heard and get anything done about my case. Mercy is a awesome hospital and the staff has always been outstanding. But dealing with the billing department has made me want to go somewhere else. Unless its an emergency I will not go back to Mercy.

I have spoken with a representative of Mercy several times. She has been helpful, though the billing/collections department of Mercy is a broken system. I was told on Nov. 17th I would get paperwork to fill out in 1-2 weeks. I was told that I need to review the paperwork & I have until Dec. 9th to accept or decline the agreement. I called on Nov. 25th & spoke with my representative & told her I had received another bill in the mail & she apologized & said she would fix that. I also mentioned I had not received the paperwork yet, she stated it should be on it's way soon, the holiday might delay it. I still have not gotten the paperwork, my husband called the representative for me today & left a message & she has not called back yet & tomorrow is Dec. 10th.
