Review: Hello I signed up for the MMA classes in [redacted] MD. I was told by [redacted] that it was a very positive and friendly environment. I shared personal medical information on why I wanted to give it a try. He told me this martial arts place would be perfect for me and the first 30 days is free and if you give a fair amount of effort to come to the classes and felt for what ever reason this place is not for you your entire fund will be refunded. That they trust that much of there product. I did two weeks at this place and there receptionist would always make insulting comments three out of the four time that I came in for the free classes. The final straw for me was when I came in for the evening classes and was insulted again and there was no one available to even teach the class and thought I made a mistake cause BJJ classes where being run during that time. I reported this to the school and they apologized that I wasted my gas money cause no one was there. I brought to there attention that after being called rded or other inappropriate names by the receptionist after walking past there desk for the fourth time that day I no longer would feel comfortable going to that school. When can I pick up my refund. [redacted] apologized and offered a free private BJJ classes but I turn it down. He told me he would contact me after speaking to the receptionist about the issue and I should send him a text and he would contact me in a day or two to follow up on the situation. I waited a week and never heard from him. I contacted him and he claimed he took care of it and tried to make it seem it was my fault that he didn't here from me in a week. When he told me he would get back to me in a day or two. [redacted] apologized and agreed that I was at no fault and told me I could pick up my money anytime in the morning. I asked if I could pick it up that same day he told me no I could not pick it up during the afternoon time it would have to me in the morning. He never told me that I would have to pick it up on a certain date or the refund would not be given to me. He specifically told me I can not pick it up in the afternoon time and I can pick it up any day in the morning during 11am 12:30pm. 4 days later I called to let them no why did they charge my card again. They apologized and told me I should have been out of the system after I told them about the issue. And that I would be able to come in the next day in the morning to get my refund. When I got there [redacted] was standing in the back of me while the receptionist did give me a receipt for the second time that I was charged. She never gave me a refund for the first charge and said when the owner comes in that she would write me a check cause she is out of town for a bjj competition. She did apologized for any inconvenience. [redacted] while standing in back of me did the exact same thing that I complained about. I think he was mad that I was leaving and he might not get his bonus or something. He said word for word rded [redacted] sick in ya head.[redacted] needs to know what goes on this place. Now Im being told I cant get my money cause of false reasons that was never told to me. I would like to know who exactly do I need to speak to to get my about this issue to get my $197.00 back. Updated info [redacted] falsly gave me the wrong email address twice cause he doesn't want me to reach to report thisDesired Settlement: I want my $197.00 refund back.
