Carpet for Ford 1956 f100 , 495801SD , sewn carpet
We ordered this carpet for our 1956 f100 pickup. I am very disappointed in the fit, it does not fit up to the kick panel on either side. Plenty of carpet goes up the fire wall, not much goes under the seat. I had to glue matching color vinyl on the sides so that the metal wasn’t showing . Just two more inches on each side would have made it fit.
If you want perfection, I don't recommend this carpet.

approved the fuel pump but declined the fuel filter. We replaced the fuel pump and customer picked up the vehicle. Like the customer stated they brought the vehicle back in about 3 weeks because the check engine light was on and engine having a hard time starting. We determined that the fuel pump was failing and the technician recommended replacement under warranty.  This fell under the warranty period and would have resulted in a NO COST to the customer, however, when the technician was under the vehicle testing the fuel pump he noticed that the fuel filter fuel lines had a bunch of wire ties (wire ties are used to bundle electrical wires together) holding the lines onto the filter. The technician immediately notified the service manager.   Someone had damaged the fuel lines coming from the fuel tank to the fuel filter and used wire ties to hold lines in place. Whomever replaced the fuel filter broke the connectors and safety connections for the fuel lines, thus the $200 additional dollars to replace them. We told the customer that they would have to pay for the fuel lines only because we did not damage the vehicle. The invoice shows that we did NOT replace a fuel filter. LMC also was not charging for the labor to replace the fuel lines that someone else broke because we could do that when we replaced the fuel pump under warranty at no charge.   We explained to the customer the potential fire dangers from a gasoline line being wire tied in place, and told them we could not replace the fuel pump because we as a professional repair shop cannot assume the liability of the improper repair and damage done to the vehicle AFTER it was in our shop. We still want to replace the fuel pump under warranty by either the customer getting the fuel lines replaced somewhere else, here at LMC or provide us the parts and we will gladly fix their vehicle.   The customer asked if we could refund the money paid for the fuel pump itself and part of the labor but our warranty doesn’t provide that as an option. We cannot assume liability by touching the fuel lines that were broken and repaired with wire ties, against industry standards for repair of such part. The fuel filter/fuel lines were broken by someone other than LMC, which the customer stated he was aware of the damage done. We agree we still owe him the fuel pump, he was supposed to bring us the bad pump and we would give him a new pump. We will change the fuel pump out ourselves if the fuel lines have been repaired. We will change the fuel pump out and the fuel lines if they provide us the lines or pay for the parts. We cannot return any monies to the customer as it is against our and most all repair shops warranty procedures.   In response to this statement, “Both men refused but said they would "give" me a fuel pump.
