This company did a great job helping us move across the countryBoth the building we moved out of and the building we moved in to were impressed with the care the movers took to not ding up the elevators, the doors, hallways, etcThey did a great job wrapping the furniture, and everything made it to the new location in one piece

We recently moved from Vancouver to Edmonton at the beginning of December. It was a very quick and last minute move and Amar with Great Canadian Van Lines came through for us. Everything was accounted for, wrapped and transported with care. I would recommend Amar and his team to anyone. They were all very approachable and efficient; thank you!
We had to leave Vancouver under difficult circumstances and right from the get go it was handled beautifully by the sales rep Kathy [redacted], she led us through a stressfull period with great compassion and followed up every query. Your driver Amir was a perfect gent and the crew at our destination were excellent. We would recommend the company to anyone. Many thanks you lived up,to your name!
[redacted] Ensure you let the movers pack your belongings or they will refuse your claim on that count. Also, do check every last box and item within 60-days; even when they have damaged your property, they will cite the contract no matter what. No flexibility or accountabilty to keep a customer. Just rudely & blatantly dismissed by Claims; changed my view on this company.
This company came highly recommended and unfortunately their Claims Department are horrible to work with. They packed a television which got damaged and almost 3 months later, the claim still hasn`t been paid. Their excuse...it wasn`t written down that we packed it so we are not responsible. OK...let me get this right...I told both the Sales Agent and the moving crew on the morning of the move that I had 5 things that needed to be wrapped and packed by them. They even went so far as to ask if I had the original boxes and once they heard no, they assured me they would "Take Care of it". Because the moving crew neglected to write it down I am now without a TV. Their latest offer...$100 because apparently they think my TV had dents, marks etc... I have offered to send pictures to prove otherwise and yet again, no answer. And this was after I confirmed that their insurance is REPLACEMENT VALUE!!
It has taken weeks to hear back from the Claims Department...and I constantly have to follow up with them. Not impressed and wouldn't recommend this company to anyone!!
I recently made a big move from [redacted], Ontario to [redacted], BC. There were so many movers to choose from. In the end, I chose Great Canadian Van Lines not only because of its reputation but also the very personalized conversation I had with Mr Mark [redacted] and all the other personnel from the company. Everyone was pleasant, helpful and very professional about the move. My hundreds of boxes and furniture were very carefully packed in the van and nothing got lost, broken or scratched. They were very accommodating of my needs including arrival time in BC. There was open and constant communication through the move, from pick up to delivery. I highly recommend this company.
