LMR Disposal

In reply to the complaint filed by [redacted] (or [redacted]), I would like you to be aware that LMR offered to settle this matter in September, 2015.  The offer was for $159.20 rather than $272.18 that was being sought by [redacted]  This offer was reviewed by [redacted] Office...

of Attorney General, which included our detailed calculation of the amount.  We will be happy to explain our calculation if necessary.  Apparently, [redacted] didn’t like that result – but to my knowledge, opted not to communicate this directly to LMR.  Recently, one of our staff members noticed a complaint posted on the internet by a [redacted].   Out of concern about a possible error on our part, the staff member investigated and found that [redacted] and [redacted] are the same person.  Our staff thought LMR indeed may have owed funds to [redacted] given that our settlement offer had not been posted to our billing system; so it appeared that $400+ was due to this former customer.  Further investigation by the staff member showed that $360 was due; and our check #[redacted] for that amount was issued on November 10, 2017.  To my knowledge, the check for $360 has not been cashed.  I feel it should not be, as the appropriate amount of refund is $159.20; and the amount is even greater than [redacted] original assertion that $272.18 is due her.    I assure you that we strive to be fair and reasonable in matters such as this.  We believe we offer excellent service at a fair price; and strive to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.  That is why we take the time to listen, review, and investigate comments on the web and all other sources.  Please let me know if you require further information.
