I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed LMZ did pay the $500. It took several weeks with multiple phone calls and texts. Tom at TPS and [redacted] at LMZ both agreed the galvanized pipe should've been removed when the copper pipe was put in. Especially due to the chemical reaction those two metals have when they touch. They both know this. This also does not justify the 1 foot square hole and drywall they left behind my refrigerator. To date the $500 is all I have asked for but this does not mean that's the only liability they will incur. The dage to my house do to their negligence will be in the neighborhood of $30,000. Neither tom or [redacted] came to my house to inspect during or after the job. Neither came to see the damage either.

Review: LMZ Construction contracted [redacted] in Fullerton, who installed copper piping throughout my house. [redacted] installed but did not remove my Galvenized pipe and it cause the copper to turn color, thus weakening the pipe. In addition, the pipe installed had two pin holes, that were leaking under my house causing significant damage. The problem was discovered when I was having my regular plumber install a new faucet. He thought he heard water and asked if I have anything on in the house, which I didn't. He looked under the house where 4 inches of standing water was discovered. I am now having to remove all of my floors to the dirt, two walls including a weight barring wall. About 20% of my house will have to come down. [redacted] promised to reimburse me for the repair of the pipe... $500 numerous times. No check and no return call. I do have home owners but will still incur the expense of checking and replacing any other bad pipe, repair for the initial leak of $500 and my deductable at $1000. They alos left a 1 1/2 foot square open hole behind my refrigerator along with the drywall when they ran new pipe to my refrigerator, letting the smell of the damp mold into the house.
I am very disappointed with the way he abandoned the project with things went wrong due to their complete disregard for quality of work.Desired Settlement: I would like the contractor to reimburse me any costs incurred including the replacement of any other damaged pipes. The work will not be done by [redacted] but by my own plumber who is reputable.

Revdex.com, 04/17/2015 ID # [redacted] I reviewed the letter [redacted] wrote you. Yes, LMZ’S was contract to repipe [redacted]’s house 1/20/2013. We did not have removal of the old galvanized pipes in the contact. LMZ’S sent TPS to [redacted]’s house right when she called about the problem. Both her plumber and TPS plumber looked at the fixing and saw the pin hole. Tom the owner of TPS called his rep. to find out the warranty on the copper fixings and pipe. The answer to the warranty was 1 year warranty. LMZ’S reimburse [redacted] on $500.00 check #[redacted] on 3/17/2015. That is what [redacted] paid her plumber to repair the fixing and that is all she asked for. I sent TPS back to her house to remove the galvanized pipe a week after that. Construction work has a 1 year warranty unless it is structural and LMZ’S didn’t do any structural. [redacted] Pres. LMZ’S Perfect Finish, INC.
