Review: [redacted]I'm struggling with a mortgage company. [redacted]has taken over servicing of my loan. The previous company, Newport Beach holdings(NBH) has not sent the appropriate paperwork to [redacted]. I had entered a modified work out agreement with NBH in OCT 2013 and have been making payments according to that agreement since. Now that [redacted] has taken over the loan they are not recognizing this agreement due to NBH not giving them the appropriate paperwork. This has tied up the processing for my home refinance that would payoff this second mortgage. LHFS has placed a $[redacted] item against my home deed. [redacted] has taken over servicing back in May of this year.I have contacted [redacted] about this issue several times. I have attempted to contact NBH, but cannot reach anyone at the number I have for the company. As a result my Refinance is on hold and I have missed my rate lock date.Desired Settlement: Newport Beach holdings provide documentation of the modified loan agreement to [redacted] as requested. Other legal actions are being pursued.

Review: This company continues to harass my wife and I after I requested (as per the Fair Debt Collection Act) specific information from them. They are claiming to be the purchasers of a second mortgage from [redacted] in our name. My wife and I are disputing this debt with [redacted], alleging that our home was falsely foreclosed on. They are not listed as the purchasers on the paperwork I received from [redacted]. We believe they are attempting to scam us!We have recently received a settlement check from [redacted] as part of a class action lawsuit brought against them by the Attorney General's Office. We are currently asking [redacted] to remove any derogatory remarks from our credit as a result of their wrongful actions. I personally have told Loan Relief Partners that I am disputing this debt, and would welcome a day in court. They ignore me, and continue to call my house requesting to speak to my wife. They even address me by my name, (indicating they know I am on the mortgage as well. I have advised them to stop harassing us. I want this to stop, or I will pursue legal action against them!Desired Settlement: Leave us alone! We do not want to deal with these bottom feeders!

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

We are not accepting their response because we were wrongly foreclosed on. [redacted] is stating to us that we have no balance. That is what they are reporting to the reporting agencies. We do not know who these people are, and have repeatedly asked them to show us proof that they purchased the loan from [redacted]. Their lack of response to our request, lead us to believe they are scammers trolling the internet for money settlements. They are not the company listed by [redacted] on any sale. As per the Fair Debt Collection Act, I informed them on several occasions that we are disputing this debt. I even requested they go to court with us. I notified them, the courts in their county, by certified mail. We will contest this action to the end. We do not want to be contacted by them anymore!
