contacted directly by Local Eco Pages regarding complaint ID ***, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
They told me on 6/**/that they had an employee on recording asking for service and that they would contact me back later that day to play it for meI still have not heard back from themI did tell them that I did report them to the Revdex.com and to the *** *** ***The gentleman told me that I would be sorry once I've heard that recordingSince then I have not tried to call them back and I have not heard from them

This is a scam we never signed up for this with this companyThey couldn't prove they provided any type of service to usHang up the phone as soon as anyone from this company contacts you

I recently received a phone call telling me that I owed $899.65 for last years advertising with them. I never authorized this I don't even know who they are. So I told them to send me my contract and a bill. They sent me a face copy of an invoice and no contract. I am calling the Revdex.com and sending a copy of this information to my attorney. No one should experience this. Things in business are hard enough!

You people should be ashamed preying on a 70 year old retired buisnesswoman. Karma you hacks. Stop sending bogus bills to people. Im reporting you to the better business and to the police for flat out fraud.
You get zero stars you theives. Wht? You cant make an honest living you have to try steal fom people. We never ordered any services from you, how dare you send a bill. How dare you contact us. Liars

I don't recall ever speaking with this company, she told me I was up for renewal with my add & I owed 800 bucks for last years add.(Don't most advertising co. what payment up front or a monthly payment?)I asked where the add was & she said she took the add down because it was expired by 3 weeks, I couldn't check it. I asked to see paperwork or signed contract, she said she couldn't provide me with that & I would have to speak to someone else when they call me, I can't wait for that call:)

I am a one man local contractor and I have received a call from eco local pages saying that I owe them money for last year of service. This is the second time that they have done this to me and I don't remember ever saying yes to the service.
Today a different company (1st Choice Direct) contacted me saying that I owe them over 1000 for a service that I never remember saying yes to. Both of the businesses say that they sent me emails when I signed up and I can't find emails for any one of the companies. This type of business is not only dishonest but also useless. You can get better results by adding SEO to your website.

I am a small electrical contractor in Indianapolis experiencing the same issues as the people above. I completely feel and understand everyone's frustrations with this and this surely has to be a scam question mark I never sign up for services by telephone and this should be looked into further.

I canceled Eco pages last year and they are trying to bill me for another year

Review: This company faxed over an invoice saying we owe them $829.65 for a basic package regarding advertising our business online. We are a branch of a larger corporation and our corporate office handles all of our online information. We have never done business with Local Eco Pages. When I called regarding this invoice, they said they talked to one of our employees in our office & he was the one who placed the order. He has not set authority to place an order & he claims he never agreed to anything. He said he told the person several times that we are not interested & even hung up on the person who called. The next day we received the invoice. When I explained everything to the customer service agent she said she would look into & would call me back. Now when I call, I get discounted when I bring up we never signed up for anything. We feel like this could be a scam and felt it should be reported.Desired Settlement: I want to know if this is a scam or to find out if this was placed in error & that it will be removed.

Review: We were first contacted in June by this company where they stated we owed over $800 to pay for previous year of service. I told them to send an invoice and I would check into it. They then called after sending us a fake invoice stating that we were overdue. We have no record of this company, or originally signing up. When I asked for a recording of the original authorization of services they played back the recording from June where they asked for our phone number etc, when I told them I was going to report them to the ftc and Revdex.com they stated "we would be sorry."Desired Settlement: Stop trying to take advantage of honest hard working small businesses!!
