Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Yes I met with both of them at my house to go over the remodeling on my floor tile/entire house and remodeling of my both bathroomsAll decisions were done thru [redacted] /Local Handyman and contract was signed with Local Handyman/ [redacted] When I met Local Handyman/ [redacted] to give him the down payment, he told me to make the check payable to [redacted] , he said because of tax purposes Two-Three weeks after the job had begun I called [redacted] /Local Handyman (weekend) to complaint about [redacted] a/k/a The Tile Guy job not been acceptable, he was doing a lousy job, he just started the guest bathroom and he said like always “he was out of town” but he will be at my house on Monday, which he did In regards to the bottle incident, that is not true in regards the [redacted] a/k/a The Tile Guy drank from the same bottle, to the contrary my son followed him after he ran to the bathroom to empty the remaining liquid from the bottle, and I told [redacted] /Local Handyman that [redacted] a/k/a The Tile Guy HAD NO BUSINESS OPENING MY FISH TANK !! He was there to remodel tile and bathrooms ! and he was fired! Local Handyman/ [redacted] finished remodeling the guest shower and he told me not to use shower until tile was set and completely dry, he said to be safe to wait about days to a weekSo after a week I called him because the guest shower was not draining, he came several times but he couldn’t fix itI had to wait another week for a plumber and Local Handyman/ [redacted] to be availableThey showed up and started to remove a portion of the shower floor where the drain pan was, approximately 14xinThe license plumber ( [redacted] ) said the work that it was done in my shower was wrong, [redacted] a/k/a The Tile Guy did not install the proper PVC, all the headaches were because of the incompetence of [redacted] a/k/a The Tile Guy which he was not a LICENSE PLUMBER recommended and was the subcontractor of Local Handyman/ [redacted] In regards to the furniture, my son and I moved/arrange a lot of the furniture for them to work freely as they move from room to room, it was never mentioned that it will be extra charge for moving furniture I even spoke with Local Handyman/ [redacted] and [redacted] a/k/a The Tile Guy where they were working on my cover patio, they ruin a portion of my grass (throwing/empting the construction debris) damaged my concrete patio with the tile cutter, and all of this happened because [redacted] did not supervised [redacted] (later on I found out from [redacted] a/k/a The Tile Guy, that [redacted] did not have any intentions going to my house, after we signed the contract) When I started to moved back my furniture is place, I saw A LOT of the tiles installed with almost no grout, tiles not level not only the living room, throughout the houseI told Local Handyman/ [redacted] the job was not acceptable that I paid a lot of money for services done poorly Local Handyman/ [redacted] started to complaint that he was losing money and all the time invested and going back and forth to my house to make repairs, well I it was his responsibility as of owner/contractor I signed the note that it was satisfactory and complete, but what about the warranty? It’s been months and I already have loose tiles In regards to the clogged toilet (master bath), toilet was working perfectly, after the plumber left fixing the guest bathroom (he closed the main valve/street) after he left, toilet at the master bath was not working, so I called Handyman/ [redacted] , he came by and said sometimes when you close the valve; debri runs on the PVCs and that’s what happened to the toilet (no idea by closing the main valve was going to affect the other toilet, and nobody checked) I was told me that the remodeling at my house the most will take weeksit took over months / [redacted] Style Definitions */ Regards, [redacted]

Local Handyman signed a contract with *** *** to install tile in her houseShe met with Local Handyman and The Tile Guy as the two companies would be partnering on the jobMrs*** paid both companies to do the jobA check was issued to both The Tile Guy and Local Handyman.Two
weeks after the job had begun Mrs*** notified Local Handyman that her son had caught The Tile Guy pouring a liquid into the fish tank (suspected to be urine)The Tile Guy drank from that same bottle at the time to show it was not urineMrs*** stated she did not want the Tile Guy back in her house so he was removed from the job by Local Handyman.Local Handy man took over the job and completed the job and moreHe was called approximately a week later that the shower was not drainingHe returned to evaluate the situationHe had to completely remove the shower and reinstalled with new drain and tile at his costThis took days of work to correct the issue.A couple of days later as Mrs*** was moving her furniture back in place she found a couple of loose tiles and grout issuesLocal Handyman returned once again to evaluate the situationOnce he fixed the area requested he asked Mrs*** to mark any other area of the floor with blue tape she found unsatisfactory so these items could ne taken care ofLocal Handyman regrouted every area marked by Mrs*** and on his own corrected any additional areas he found needed fixing which ended up being most of the project done by The Tile GuyWhen the job was complete Local Handyman and his team even assisted Mrs*** and her son move the furniture back in place at no cost.After the job was completed Local Handyman provided the attached document to Mrs*** as a final sign off on the projectPlease note that it is signed by Mrs*** that the work was satisfactory and complete.In addition, Local Handyman instructed Mrs*** to contact The Tile Guy (whom she paid to do the job) for any additional warranty issues on the tile (noted on the attached agreement). A week later Local handyman received a call about a clogged toiletHe again went out to evaluate the situation and found it was clogged and unclogged the toiletWhen he was notified via text once again on July 27 about a loose tile he did not respond , one, because he was out of town and because as noted on the final sign off she was to contact the Tile Guy for any additional warranty issues to do with the tile (Attached document -please note she signed and agreed)Local Handyman took all efforts to correct any issuesAfter the
